  1. Well it looks to be a pre-88 car, so any compliancer should be able do it. Not sure how you go with the various approval docs you might need.
  2. Hope recovery goes well Geoff, hopefully you can make the november DECA before heading up to beat all those QLDers on the race rack

Cracking the paint is a definite possibility (just look at mine...) which will at the very least need a touch up/spray

  6. Ahhh, maybe that's where I went wrong, I actually called them... silly me
  7. Just Cars "Agreed" value leaves a lot to be desired. You don't actually have to agree...
  8. you can have X number of "at fault" accidents during the year without losing your rating 1. Typically X is 1, you may be able to pay more for more accidents though...
  9. Sweet, My insurance is just about up anyway. I wonder if I'll get an extra 4 door discount
  10. Age: 25 Shannon's Rating 1, 17K agreed value, 500 excess, 1200 (mildly modified) Rating 1, 20K agreed value, 500 excess, 1300 (highly modified) Just car Rating 1, 16K "agreed" value, 1200 excess, 1000
  11. Oooh, I forgot about that, I had the full techobot set http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technobots and the stunticons http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Menasor This site seems to have lots of the set pics http://www.transformerland.com/toysbycateg...&genreid=13
  12. I once had the entire lion voltron set, was a few feet high, disassembled into the 5 lions, and had all the characters as well. All that was missing was a robeast to battle against.
  13. Sounds interesting, I'm in
  14. Yes, I'd already organised my interview before you posted this. I imagine Patrick had as well. The Software Engineer position had been advertised for about 10 days before the SysAdmin position was posted I believe.
  15. Haha, though the thread title says otherwise, the position Patrick got was the Software Engineer position. I heard someone went for the Sys Admin position and didn't like the number
  16. Here's mine
  17. they were just driving slow on the news last night (or the night before)
  18. yeah there were a few traps for the unwary, usually with not using y when you expect them to etc. My design patterns knowledge sucks Uni never covered them, and I haven't had to use any, I could name a singleton though More study required! I think I may have to do some more personal projects to help, does the world need more Consult software?
  19. Was 3 C++ classes, 1 base class, 2 derived classes, with various methods. Final line was printing a number generated by the classes
  20. But then you end up with something that looks like a RB26, but... just isn't. The RB25DETT has been done here in Vic, however it's not running anymore. I'm slowly gearing up to do this. I like different
  21. Congrats I'll probably stay where I am for now and try to get my C++ experience up over the next 6-12 months. Of course I'd hope to get an inside word on any other positions opening there They said in the interview that most people got the number wrong during the test, so I can at least take heart that I got it right
  22. Congrats to Patrick if he did get it D'oh for me though lol, I thought my experience would let me down, another 6-12 months I should have the required C++ experience, but doesn't help right now I guess I should be expecting a commiseration call
  23. has anyone applied for this one yet? I know Patrick and I applied for the Soft Eng position, but haven't seen anyone saying that they're applying for this one. They also have a dyno in the building
  24. Hehe, yeah I wasn't sure who was in charge of the comp this time... I don't remember that, but very well, I shall attempt to use my powers for good, not evil
  25. PM copied to James
