ouch!

im sure i'll not be the last to say this, but, ED at integra auto.

g'day guys, i have a little concern about my R33. whenever my turbo comes on boost, it squeals to high heaven. nobody seems to know quite what it is. i've heard some say that its a boost leak or something from the turbo seals, but the car hasn't lost any power. am installing a boost gauge shortly, so i'll see where its boosting. got me stumped. its gradually been getting worse over the past few weeks. i dont drive my car particularly hard, but i kinda have a feeling its time for a new turbo. any ideas would be great. cheers.

i thought the stock turb's could only handle 10-11 psi?

better the devil you know than the devil you dont know. i love your car snooze. if you bought an R34, what would you want to do to it? wheels, kit, and all the other mods your current car has, right? how much would that all cost from scratch? sh*t loads. you've already got all that, why start again?

i only let my car run down to 3/4 of a tank, and i get easy over 300km per tank (or 3/4's of!) i think the tank size is somewhere around the 50L mark.

i will also advise it would a good idea if people can get their hands on a CB radio or walkie talkie. these are good for quick and easy communication while on the road. might even be a good idea to designate a lead and tail car so the group cant get spilt up. these cars can rotate between everyone (provided they have a radio), as i know no-one wants to be the last car for the whole trip. camera mount should be a go'er nik, so it'll be a good chance for you to show off!

is anybody going to see BEXTA this friday night at Academy? (spelling? im tired!) well i thought if anybody was interested, we could all meet as usual, go for a cruise, then go see Bexta at about 11 or 12 ish? she wont start playing until about 1am, (i think). i'm hell keen for it, i think it'd be a great idea. anyone else interested? well im going no matter what.

i wont be making it tomorrow night guys. will be working late with the budget being released and all. im being locked up for most of the day, with no contact with the outside world. politics are great aren't they?! NOT!

how old is the car? again i bring up the issue i had with transferring mine to ACT rego. i was told i didn't have to go dickson because the car is older than 10yrs. i dont know why, but i just took my car a local inspection place and they passed it on the spot and i got ACT rego the next day. could be worth a look.
