great to see so much interest. just trying to get ideas at this stage. once we have an idea of whats happening, i'll post up about it again. shooting at night on mini DV can be problem, but not if you got the right camera, like me. i also have access to an incar camera mount, which isn't dodgy, which took a while to make, and also a jib arm, which can reach up to about 5-6m high. we got all the gear,, just need the ideas. and yes, stupid stuff would be cool, but only if we can do it on a private road or property.

hey guys, for a while now, a couple of us have been tinkering with the thought of making a DVD for ourselves. not for sale, just for our own private use. any ideas and suggestions would be good. not looking to do anything stupid, but maybe events or cruises, friday nights or working on our cars. we got all the equipment and editing gear. so feel free to give us any ideas and we'll see what we can come up with. if you would like some cool footage of your car on a DVD, just put your hand up, and we'll organise something. cheers, luke.

kings ave is in barton, near parliment house.

Spotted today: a big dark purple GTR outside erindale, looked tough. a black series II near kings ave this arvo, looked like leech's but im not certain. skylinegal near duntroon this afternoon. a dark gray r32 4 door, just behind skylinegal. a dark colored r33 with a big shiny front mount and outragous bodykit on adelaide ave this arvo. no im not stalking you all, i just get around! HA!

that sounds good. hopefully, i'll have the boost up by then.

yeah, i love those lights. you won't find anything like em anywhere else. did all the work at parliment house. (i work there).

i love it. i try to use it whenever i can. i only use Vortex or Ultimate. haven't noticed a big difference between the two, but i'd choose Vortex over Ultimate.

i agree. same happened to me with a newer car! i'd try and avoid dickson if you can. its worth a shot anyway.

The stock springs and shocks are pretty firm for a standard car. what tyres are you running? different brands of tyres work in different ways, due to the compund of rubber. i'm running Potenza's on the front (235/45/R17) and Grid II's on the back (255/45/R17). even though they are made by the same company (Bridgestone), the characteristics are very different. the rear's are almost on the wear bars and will loose traction in a big way if i give it a hit mid corner. these are a cheaper tyre than the Potenza's and dont have anywhere near as much grip. i would suggest trying larger rear tyre width and paying a bit more for a good tyre like the Potenza's.

Spotted: a big mean looking purple R33 GTR, with fat rear wheels and big exhaust, yesterday arvo, heading towards the monaro hwy, up johnson dr, then turned left onto clift cres. 1.30pm ish.
