so, go-karts. was thinking about the rule to not use the same kart twice. what would work is if you draw the kart numbers out of a hat. this way it is completly random.

geez mick, talk it up! i dont consider myself an 'awesome driver', i just have fun with what i do. thats all this is, fun. not the bloody F1 championship. i appreciate the praise , but i was only messing around with the whole lap times thing. i shouldn't have even posted them.

i'm out this friday. am up for hitting the town after aswell. i watched the same story last night, and almost started a thread about it. i'm very tempted to ask a news crew and a reporter from work to come on the next cruise with us and do a story about us, the young car enthuisasts (yes, this includes you richard!!!!), not the HPI Hoons. hhhmmmm......sounds like a good name for a DVD!

no chance of in-kart footage. having worked there, the thought crossed my mind more than once and i tried it twice. the first time i tried it i wrapped the camera in foam and taped it to the side-pod. the second time i made up a mount which attached itself to the rollcage. both were extremely bad for vibrations. see,go-karts lack a little item called SUSPENSION!

im debating whether or not to put the dyno day on one DVD then another event on another DVD, or if we should cram it all together on one DVD? maybe we'll do both. we need to get shirts made up that say SAU Film Crew, or SAU Media. he he

leech, do you remember talking to a short little stubby guy about an intercooler at the dyno day? i can have a word to him if you like about it. its exactly the same as bluprint's. never used. he might even be out with us tomorrow night.

this is looking big guys. the more the merrier!! not sure about my camera mount (or FoX's, well, its owned by a few people) as it is with another mate who is using it for a celica cruise or something :usuck:. but bring your other mounts out and we can hook em up. ours was designed from scratch and built by FoX, Jester, R31DET, Bluprint and me. (well i didn't do much, but i can order a mean pizza!!!) i'll have my camera on the tripod for the occassion.

that sounds great. the kangaroo valley idea sounds good, i've heard its a common cruise destination, but have never been there.

hey FoX, seeing as it'll be pretty big this friday night, how bout setting up the in-car camera mount in one of our cars? i'll bring my camera and tripod. i reckon it'll be worth it. i'm sure we could find a volunteer. even my car. through it open to the floor. anyone interested in have a camera in their car this friday night? its really sercure and not dodgy. i'll explain it to all interested parties.
