    If drifting is quicker why don't tyre manufactures develop harder compound tyres to cope with the wear? Look, it's been proven that drifting is not the way to go. Back in the early days of F1, drivers use to drift around corners until Fangio came along and developed the modern day racing techniques. What can you say to 5 world championships.

    Current Type R isn't as hardcore as the old one. I test drove one of the old ones and you really have to rev the motor to get the most from it or else there's not much at all. I say get one if you want it as a track hack or be a weekend track racer.

    Don't know where you read stock ecu is just as good but the any alteration to the ecu (provided tuned well) will be better than stock ecu. It's not so much top end power which I'm impressed, but the midrange power which makes me smile.

    No, keep reverse. More interesting to see how fast it is backwards. Even better, dump the clutch in reverse! And also will get record for fastest car in reverse.

    I doubt anything will happen so soon. I heard about the p1, p2 thing almost 10 years ago and they've only introduced it sometime last year (i think). Something like this will also take time.

    I'm behind Luff on the idea that the licenseing system is a sham! We are taught to get the license, not to drive. I believe that a licensing system like the current one for motorcycles in NSW is an absolutely good idea. Deaths on bikes have declined since the introduction of the licenesing system for bikes. Incorperating an advanced driving course for L platers (cars) is the way to go. Education, not legislation!

    I saw the map but have no idea of the roads. I may have to "use the force" as my girlfriend can't use road maps very well. Uni graduate! PFFT!
