Grim, you have to bring your own helmet out there. There is a professional driver there to help out, but there are those of us who are also there for you. Each session is about 20 mins and you get about 4/5 sessions for a full day. -
There's a petrol station after the crossroads (going onto the highway). It's an ampol station. say about 6:45am. Takes about hours to get there.

As seeing some were offended by my suggestion, I vote for the one with the race tracks on the back. Can't the pics of the racetracks be bigger?

GTR motor costs 7k. Add labour and by the time your finished (without adding mods) you're better of getting an entire overhaul of the SR20 which would munch any stock gtr.

R34 motors have variable inlet valve.

So what if they say smack. People here say smack acout commodores too so it's a never ending debate. That 427 HRT Monaro is more compareable to a JGTC spec GTR.

My eyes and ears are on this. I've also foward dans sms to mates in silverwater area to keep a look out. Also notified uncle if he sees anything dodgy coming into his smash repair. Long shot but worth it.

Yes, just like if a tree falls in the woods, does it make sound??? :confused: Back to the question from evl r33, don't look at numbers from differing dyno's and base everything on them. They are simply a tuning device. My car made 160kw on rwd but then suddenly made 180kw on 4wd at a different place? That's right, the transmission somehow makes power now... :confused:

I want to hook up a oil cooler for the transmission. How do I go about this? Also is it better to hook it up to the gearbox or the transfer case?

It's not power that kills. It's how it delivers the power. RB25 produces it's power more linear and smothly compared to an RB26, which is pretty much all or nothing. Also a GTR 4WD is not like a WRX 4WD. WRX's 4WD system make any driver look like a future rally star, where a GTR's 4WD seperates the men from mice.

If you can wait till next year, import a car under the "over 15 year import" rule. Save heaps cause you don't need to comply (I think). Prestige sent details of 2 MR2's, one turbo and the other non turbo for under 10k.
