After looking at this, I realised I brought the wrong GTR!
eBay
I was supposed to get a Ford MUSTANG GTR. Not a Nissan Skyline GTR! Duh! Stupid me!!
I knew I should've looked past the badge on the Nissan!
Never knew the Mustangs had a GTR either...
The mclarens is a developed version of last years car. Last year they used the mp4-17a/b/c specs. This year they used the d spec car.
The ferrari is still a quick car, only it was driver errors which let ferrari down until the san marino.
Very recommended. Did course with Finlay and learned so much. Everyone thinks their good until they find out how to use the brakes and steering wheel.
If it's the defensive driving course then I think auto is fine. It's when you do the circuit racing course that manual is needed.
If you can find a good condition rotor that is!
Go the 34! If your not out to be a track hack, 34 is great for daily driving. However, NO STICKERS PLEASE!
Punks will target your car more and it doesn't add horsepower, engine mods add power.
Cheating exists in all sports. Look at horse racing. All the glitz and glamour to hide that dirt all over the place.
In motorsport most of the times it's "bending the rules". Renault with the launch control system was an absolutely brilliant idea, but was later banned.
I've noticed that some kits have a plug-in ecu to fool HICAS and some have this huge locking bar or something. What are the advantages of both and which one is better?
Thanks
It's not the ontrack overtaking. It's more the pit stop stratagy I like. But love when they bang wheels overtaking too (not jerez 97 style though...)
Everyone thought that the macs we're slow cause of their qualifying stuff-ups but on race day it was a different story.
Gr8 race once again. I love this new rule cause qualifying means almost jack and you actually get to see cars slice and dice! And I'm re-learning what "overtaking" is again...
Congrats to Schuey on a well deserved win, and for performing especially when dealing with the loss of his mother.
Webber, well.... What can I say? Bad start only to recover a little then the Jag going POP.
License should consist of a defensive driving course. Changing lanes, hill starts, not clipping round-abouts and reverse parking teaches you jack when driving at higher speeds (ie. 110 compared to 60km/h). Most people stomp the brake pedal as though it's their worst enemies head.
At one point I had new tyres on the front and old ones on the back. Atessa went bonkers and the next day it was new tyres all round. Tyres were 255/45/17 all round.
Sorry, 255/40/17!
if it's still using stock turbos, 17.5 psi is a recipe for the ceramic turbo's to break. 14psi is about the limit.
Yeah that smile is still on my face from time to time now. It's the midrange power increase over stock that surprised me most.
