  1. Criminals? Like ones who do burnouts in car parks at cruises? Yes I agree with you there.
  2. What didn't you understand about what I said? They give you a yellow because they "think" its illegal and should be checked by the Pits. Its what the Pits are there for..... Explain to me how they can fit into 6 months Police training all the knowledge someone at the pits would know about cars and mods as well as everything else. hrmm... thats right.. they can't and they shouldn't have to. The traffic branch of the WA police was disbanded by the previous commissioner and they are only just building it up again. So really there arent any TRUE traffic cops like there were back in the 80's. All cops are expected to do all duties of a police officer. Not just traffic. So yes... the cop pulling you over probably did just see a wife get beaten to hell by her alcoholic husband.
  3. I have owned an imported car for 5 years - with mods - and not once been pulled over to be given a yellow sticker. I don't even have permits. Boosted - you come on here and whinge that cops arent taught about vehicle mods and engines. Last time I checked a cop's job was to enforce the law not be a mechanic. They give you a yellow sticker because they think what is on your car is illegal and it should be checked. It is the job of the people at the Pits to determine whether it definitely is or not. Do you think that a cop should have to put up with attitude from people like you after they have come from a domestic violence case, rape, child abuse, bashing of eldery people etc. You're car and you're mods are insignificant in the day of a cops life. Look at the bigger picture. Why should a cop spend the majority of their training on the plethora of engines and mods - legal or not? Shouldn't they be training on how to protect the public from criminals?
  4. Why do you call them Monkeys? If it wasn't for them - you'd be doing that work right?
  5. You're question has been answered. There have been threads on this in the past. Please use the search facility before making a thread about a common issue. Thread closed.
  6. There is no right section for a thread as retarded as this.
  7. hahah I agree Sasha.... or those ones who obviously don't have mirrors in their house or honest friends... they aren't doing a service to the 'raver' society by going out dressed in size 8 clothes when they are a size 22.
  8. Nice to see you removed the wing, this is often the cause for people wanting to race skylines. Although you may lose around 5hp - try also removing any visable asian style air fresheners. I find that having one of these makes people want to race me ALL the time.
  9. HAHAHA riaz - so true. We have a guy at work called 'The Shuffler', all he does is move stacks of paper from one side of his desk to the other while shuffling them into piles. And he just clicks from screen to screen on his computer, replying to emails, then flicking back to some other screen, back to email.
  10. Dave - hahaha OH MY GOD I never thought of that. I am going to start spreading that around work. /jk
  11. Gazza - the next cruise will be a night cruise. We try to alternate between a day cruise and a night cruise each month. But thanks for the suggestion, we'll keep that in mind for a day cruise!
  12. There will most likely be a cruise this month sometime.
  13. I have cleaned this thread up (if you're wondering where you're posts have gone) and thread is closed.
  14. People who show up late to work EVERY morning then leave right on time every day. And this cocky 'fanta pants' guy at my work who has a one of those gay arse goatee's without the moustache bit, so he looks like a stupid leprechaun. And when he walks his arms dont move - WTF? One time there was team dinner and when asked what he wanted to drink, he said he didnt drink wine, beer or any of the spirits the place had available. Instead he made his manager walk to the bottle shop and buy him a 4 pack of woodstock bourbons! Then when ordering something to eat he said to the waitress 'There is nothing that I like on here, can you make me a spaghetti cabonara - thanks' GRRRR. I have a theory that he got bashed at school alot for being a nerd, but thought that when he started work, if he acted like a cocky know-it-all, people would respect and like him. WRONG WRONG WRONG I also believe he may have mild tourettes - he does random things like opening the door to the test lab and yelling into the office area 'BURN'. Everytime I hear him talk to someone like they are stupid or when he tries to be funny with the admin girls and doesnt pull it off.... I get the urge to pound his head in with the my sticky tape dispenser. Users don't thank you for making them look like idiots!
  15. If its so petty - why did you say it? Firstly TJ - Mikey has only been on the committee for a short time and does not know the history. He even told you all that - so I think calling him a liar is a bit harsh. Maybe unsure would be a better description? And secondly the event was never discussed at our meetings, which is why I said we did not know about it. You said yourself that 'comments' ie threads etc etc on the forums don't reflect the club's position. Same applies here. The thread made about the Sports Compact events was not an indication that SAUWA would be entering. It was an FYI only. I am mildly embarassed that the thread is there, after I strongly defended our decision - but this was based on the fact it was never brought up at a meeting and I checked with the committee before making my comments. But I don't keep track of every thread posted on these forums. I am annoyed that people are trying to make an example of SAUWA because the event was "maybe" not as good as it could have been due to OTHER factors or whatever the reason is you have all decided to single us out. Does it really matter that we didn't put a club entry in? You are all acting like the world has come to an end.. I am sure you all have more important things going on in your lives besides bagging out a club for not entering a Plex event.
  16. TJ - Anti-lag didnt compete either according to your post on your forums? So why say it was a shame we didn't? You guys are just as - if not bigger than us. Why are we the ones copping the bad comments for not entering? Yes Paul posted generally for this and the other plex events, but it was never discussed at our committee meetings that we were entering it because as you can see we got one reply in the thread.
  17. I see you were alot more 'subdued' on here than you were with your comments regarding this club on the Anti-Lag forums. The committee did not have enough notice or time to prepare an entry and no interest was shown from our members to enter this event (which would be due the late notice issue). Had there been, we would have made the effort. But thanks for your concern.
  18. You just need to ask him to be your instructor TJ and then tell AHG that he is doing it... thats what we do for our training days
  19. The driver training days at AHG are nothing like drifting. That is motor kahna style driving teaching braking and control techniques. If you have a nice instructor they might let you do something a bit crazy around the top corners. But you dont get the speed and length in the corners like you do in drift.
  20. FFS - OOOLLLLLD thread. I dont know why some people bother replying. Thread closed
  21. Why dont you just look at your last rego bill if you can't find the plate (which isnt that hard to find).
  22. Jim - why dont you make a new thread with that info in it ?
  23. nismor32 - as I said - members from both clubs were being dickheads. It just happened that someone spotted your car and used the anti-lag sticker as a point of reference. Those stickers both SAUWA and Anti-lag - show you represent a club.... and your behaviour reflects on that club. Last time I checked - neither club wants to be associated with idiots who attract unwanted attention at cruises. On a positive note - the majority of people from both clubs drove really well
