  1. I thought it was a good event. Cheers to Mark for putting the day on for us and the SAU people who organised it. I thought it was a well run day and was good to have Mark actually take interest and explain the dyno results, where the tune could be improved etc. . . I was happy with my 180 and 183rwkw, not bad for full exhaust with cat, 10psi, k&n panel filter and 100mm thick SMIC. Bit better and more consistant than the 92, 96, 120 and 150rwkw results from a couple of months ago. . . . Sorry had to have one last stab I vote, if possible, that all future dyno days be held here!
  2. Gross. . . . . . Happy Bday Col!
  3. Karen, could you just check my payment, I transferred the skidpan money and the dyno day money in the one transfer to the sau account. You have marked the skidpan as paid but not the dyno list yet??? Can you just check that the total I sent was correct. Cheers
  4. Already filled out and in my glovebox So damn organised!
  5. I have a 97 R33 GTST sedan and it has the auto lock function. No after market alarm fitted as of yet. . . .
  6. My car is back in action again so I just transferred my cash now. Should be in the sau account tomorrow. . .
  7. Cheers Col, yeah it felt pretty huge, the nearly dead clutch and pretty much open wheeling LSD didn't help much either but it was fun. I had nothing in it though when the courses got tighter, Johnnie showed me how it was done then.
  8. Go the ute action! Thanks again to John for letting me have a go of his ute since my car is currently minus a turbo.
  9. I am of course dependant on having a new turbo installed as most of you would know. If I have it in by then I will definately be there.
  10. I will back that up with they are completely the same, having owned both at te same time for a period and swapped all the suspension from the coupe to the sedan they are exactly the same.
  11. 2.5 sessions total for a full track day, best of 1.04.77 on the clubman circuit. . . . . . . time attributed to my fast emptying wallet. . . . . Was good to see a lot of familar faces out there though. I shall be back!
  12. I am getting there a 7am to make sure I can organise my new license as my old license has expired. If you are doing the afternoon session only then I would say get there no later than 12 just to make sure you get everything done because it all gets rolling pretty quickly once the briefing has been completed.
  13. A good example of bang for buck in R33 sedans is here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=147957 Pretty quick around QR, pretty quick down the 1/4 for what it is, easy to slide around the skidpan, comfortable to do long trips in, quiet and good on fuel. It only took me 4 R33s to get it right! And no FMIC!
  14. Hey Dave, how often do you go out to Morgan Park and who do you go with? I know the porche club goes out there and the QLD mini car club used to go out there a bit too, I am keen for a run out there one day.
  15. Well I was bored the other Wednesday night so I headed out to Willowbank to see if this CES front pipe made any difference. This was the best run of the night. Car: 97 R33 GTST sedan Turbo: Standard Date: 11/04/2007 Time: 8.55pm Track: Willowbank Air Temp: 17 C Track Temp: 29 C Humidity: 87% Reaction time: 0.522 60ft: 2.117 330ft: 5.828 660ft: 8.911 1000ft: 11.548 ET: 13.772 MPH: 101.37 So yeah, I was quite happy with that as I haven't touched a thing on the car since I went out last time except for fitting the CES front pipe and it gave me an extra couple of tenths. I am thinking about getting a set of MT drag radials on a set of 16x8 rims, I reckon I could get it down to the low 13s then, very happy with that considering the level of power mods I have.
  16. There are some pretty snappy times up there these days, I am just disappointed I never got to lay down some times in my old GTR in the dry!
  17. If I had my time over I would have bought an EVO over the GTR. . . . . GTRs cost way too much to make them reliable at the track, EVOs are a much better package out of the box. But if you have a money tree by all means go the GTR.
  18. I transfered the money for both morning and afternoon sessions over Easter. Can't wait!
