  1. I can't do Wednesday due to my basketball commitments but I am trying to get out there this Saturday. . .
  2. Man, I need to check on these things more often. . . Let me know if it falls through.
  3. My old silver 33 sedan had the lip and side skirts. I will try and track some pics down for you. Still debating the FMIC on mine. . . . I am pretty lazy
  4. They were a pest to put in. The rails that came with them were supposed to be the super-low ones but there was nothing super-low about them. Had some custom ones made up and they sit the same height as the stock seats did now, and there is no way they could go any lower. Damn that buldge in the floor on the passenger side! But apart from that the are a huge improvement on the standard seat, heaps more support and a lot more comfortable thatn I expected. Apart from the extra cost incurred in get custom rails made up I am one happy customer
  5. You would be suprised how much difference a set of semi slicks will make. I have managed a 62 on the sprint layout in the sedan and I only have 175rwkw. Pretty sure I can get that down a bit further too as the tyres were pretty much dead as they were the old ones I used to run on the GTR. I did a flat 60 in the dry and a 68 in the wet in the GTR, it had about 210awkw. Plenty of opposite lock in the wet
  6. I am changing my status to if its a wet day I will be there! Its always a bit of fun in the wet BTW, which layout are these times in realtion to?? The Sprint or Clubman layout?
  7. Another couple of months and I will be back out there. . . . . starting to suffer track withdrawals. . . . .

    New Bride Ergo
  9. They are definately recliners, Bride Ergo. They turned up on Friday, should be in by this afternoon if all goes to plan I was lucky enough to pick them up off a guy in the SAU forsale section, they hadn't been fitted to a car yet and came with rails. They do come up every now and then, I have just been checking the forsale section regularly, I just missed out on a pair of recaros before Christmas. . . .
  10. You can always have a look at mine at some time, its a series 2 aswell so it would be a good comparison for your wife. There a some major differences in the series 1 and 2 sedan, the biggest one being the battery has been relocated back under the bonnet giving much more boot space. Some pics can be found here : http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=147957 I also have access to another series 2 sedan in silver if you wanna compare colours
  11. Yeah good luck on the sale. Skylines are near impossible to get rid of atm. And you have to remember mods are worth nothing on a cars resale. I spent close on the value of your 32 on Mods on my 33 GTR, quality mods too fixing all the GTR weaknesses, ie; suspension, brakes, cooling, oil supply issues etc. . . . plus some HP mods and I still ended up losing $15K on the original cost of importing the thing stock when I sold it! Not even including the cost of modding it aswell! So yeah, chances are you will have to bite the bullet and loose the money if you want to move it, or as said earlier own it for a long long time and get your $$s worth.
  12. Thanks, nice GTR. Brings back painful memories of seeing mine go. . . . . I have thought about the coupe headlights, it will happen one day. Just not a priority atm, a lot of $s for a cosmetic thing. At least they aren't as expensive as those xenons on your car, I looked into upgrading mine on the GTR when I had it as mine was only a series 2 not 3. . . . . I nearly fell over. . . . .
  13. Love rims with dish! and those have loads of it!
  14. Have been looking for a pair of 33 GTR seats, recaros or brides. . . .which ever comes up first at the right price. Bracing myself with my knees at the track is getting a little annoying So far I am about 1.5 to 2 secs a lap slower then my old 33 GTR V-spec with basically the same level of modification. . . . . Although I think I can narrow that gap a little as my semis where pretty much shagged and I also developed a boost leak during the last outing also which hampered me a bit. I reckon I can get it down to less than a sec different. In the dry GTRs really aren't that much quicker and I certainly use less fuel in the sedan on track days! So far my best down the quarter is 13.93, that was before I installed the CES front pipe so I am sure I can shave a little off that too as it definately feels stronger now.
