    Tyres

From my experience, I got to keep my tyres after compliance. I think it comes down to your compliancer, and whether he is nice to you or not. Tyres had 70% tread on them, so I ended up using my brand new yoko's first and then switched back to the GIII's. They were a little hard, but after a track day tehy seem to come good.
  11. Weather Forcast for Tuesday : A few showers. . . Could get interesting
  12. I am just having breakfast, then I am packing to go!
  13. That clutch I got off your friend has worked out a treat. It now has a sprung centre exedy plate and the nismo pressure plate has been changed from 2100lbs to 2600lbs. And its sooo light! Just in time too.
  14. Thats why I am doing both, just warming up for Tuesday
  15. Just picked up my freshly re-built Nismo single plate clutch. . . . .gets fitted on Tuesday, just in time I have been out there before when they have the motorkana in the carpark, its good. Gives you something to watch between runs.
  16. Woah, I just realised the schedule I have just given myself, QR track days on the 1st and 4th, and Skidpan/LVMA day on the 8th!!! Oh well, gotta make the most of the cooler weather. All info can be found here:- http://www.queenslandraceway.com.au/ You will need the usual wrist to ankle clothing, helmut (can be hired there), AASA licence (can get on the day, $55 annual fee) and a roadworthy car of course. The cost is $95 or if you prepay its $75. Hope to see you all there!
  17. *sigh* Why are motorsport venues in QLD so hard to get up and running??
  18. Ok, I have noticed a little bit of interest in track days of late so I just thought I would let everyone know that on the 1st of July I will be heading down to QR with a few other people for the Saturday Afternoon Sprints at QR. This is the perfect time of year for all those who are scared of hurting their cars, it won't get any cooler out at Ipswich. Its a great afternoon out, and you get to give you and your car a real workout without breaking the law. As long as your car is in good mechanical order you will have a ball, you don't need a track dedicated machine to enjoy the day. Hell my car would be flat out pushing 160rwkw! Hope to see some new faces out there!
  19. Sweet, can't wait. I just transferred the $$$s Paul, can't wait to get some times down.
  20. Won't fit GTST. Selling the R huh? I think everyone is selling their Rs. . . . . . Good luck with it.
  21. Hey Mark, Congrates on the AS dyno results! Pretty damn impressive. I might come down for a look.
  22. Bummer, thanks guys. The search will continue. . . .
