  1. Morning.
  2. Damn, that looks nasty! I am off, got some serious TV watching to do, see yas.
  3. Yeah John sent me a PM offering me a lift, but I had to decline as I new watching would make me a little agro. Especially with no way home, stuck there forced to watch.
  4. Plus you do time trials which is always fun in a competitive way.
  5. Yeah, you go nuts but with water and diesel it means everything happens in slow motion so you should learn better steering control/throttle control. It hasn't helped me yet, I spend too much time last time facing the wrong way!
  6. Yes Grasshopper. I am going to put up a proper post for it in the events section in the next few days try build a little interest. It will have all the necessary info, links and stuff.
  7. Yeah, I am still spewing I missed the last one.
  8. You know you are going to have a grin from ear to ear the first time you hit boost hard with that big mutha hanging off the side off your engine
  9. Nick, book yourself in for the 17th of July, we are going to hit Q.R. A great place to learn about car control at high speed with little fear of hitting anything. Plenty of notice. Save those $$$ and get some new tyres! Skidpan day should be in August, don't miss that either. Tip of the day: Never hit the brakes hard mid corner unless you have already passed the point of no return and are just trying to minimise the damage by trying to slow up a bit.
  10. Mmmmmm, I am sure it will be worth the time taken though.
  11. Hey James, I need an update on your car. What's the go?
  12. What the hell is that Nick? or shouldn't I ask.
  13. I live in Brisbane so transport wasn't an issue, but it only took 2 or 3 days for them to be rebuilt. I did however buy my coilovers from a guy in Adelaide and I am sure it only cost like $20 maybe $25 to freight them, definately do both the front ones at the sames time. It was $137.50ea to service mine so allow for heaps of freight $350 should easily cover it. Alot less the $1400 and they will be like new, if they are serviceable (ie. not damaged).
  14. Yeah I saw the pearl white widebody GTR again this morning near the merc dealership off Sangate Rd near the Rode Rd intersection.
  15. That square hole to the left of the steering column would be for the electric antenna height adjuster thingy me thinks. I am pretty sure 33s don't have a factory dash light dimmer which is why so many get dodgy ones fitted during compliance.
  16. Yep, I got my APEXi T-max coilover reconditioned there too. Doesn't take long either, most of your time would be taken up in transit. http://www.shockreco.com.au/
  17. I put these in a month or so ago now:- APEXi T-max coilovers - Reconditioned Replaced springs with king spring items (F - 400lbs, R - 225lbs) Cusco Adj caster rod Cusco adj rear upper camber arm Whiteline front adj camber bush. Whiteline Pineapples. Whiteline adj sway bars should be in, in about 2 weeks. And also may try differnt spring rates (F - 450lbs, R - 300lbs) just to see the effect it has. Trying to find the best compromise on the road/track, comfort/handling front. Height is 355mm from centre of wheel to arch all round FR :- camber = -1.5deg caster = +5.0/5.5deg Toe = 0.0mm R :- camber = -1.0deg Toe = +1.5mm total Basically the whiteline suggest touring settings. Rides real nice at the moment on soft, absorbs all the bumps but still firm. Turn the knob to hard and it shakes your teeth out. I am real happy with the result so far. The GTST started to tramline real bad when the tyres where approaching the replacement stage, so I expect the GTR to do the same. At the moment its fine though on the new 265 Yoko ES100s.
  18. Ankle is getting better, the physio reckons I am making really fast progress but it still feels damn slow to me! Night all, bed for me!
  19. Yeah, I had a guy hit me up about the Gemini once doing a sub-division at sumner park, said it was a yellow van just like mine and had been stolen that night, seriously, you would have to be desperate to grab mine, it is sooooo dusty inside you have to wipe the dash just to see how fast you are going.
  20. Same the only car I leave outside in confidence is the Gemini Van. Dirty, smelly thing it is. Bit scary when you here them go, especially when it is so close to home.
  21. Evening Mike and Erin. Time for me to go to bed, gotta get up at 5:30am to go to work. I liked it better when we were quiet.
  22. Damn James, look at your points!!!!!!!! Someone stole all mine the other day.
  23. Hi James, meh still sore. I have to ice it every day after work as it swells quite a bit. At least I can walk around without a limp now. Don't know whether I should ask...... but, how is your car situation coming along?
  24. Evening guys. I am trying to get motivated to finish this assignment, so far......... not good.
  25. Must be a personal thing, I have never found the dash lights on any car too bright on my frequent "red eye runs" between Brisbane and Sydney. Although the HKS TT can get a little bright, but you can switch that off anyway.
