  2. I d/l albums in FLAC.
  3. Amazing, like CCR4 etc from a thousand years ago. At least you can get a Fanatec wheel.
  4. Like every other racing game eh
  5. Gaming timeslots might help you two sort out how shit SC2 is.
  6. Incendiary pig army cannot fail!
  7. Like I said only enterprise and datacentre editions can address more RAM, that includes 2003.
  8. Because RAM is cheap and with a lot of laptops 64bit is a no cost option. Windows 7 licenses for 32 and 64 are the same. The only 32bit Windows systems that address 4GB and beyond are Windows server enterprise / datacentre.
  9. It's a BIOS setting and will be on my default. No, no it doesn't. It can 'see' 4GB but it can't use it.
  10. The 'turbo' is bumping up the multiplier automatically when more CPU grunt is needed. You are probably running 32bit windows.
  11. I love the Total War series, I even have the little Napoleon statue on my desk from the Emperor edition of N:TW. Which was for suckers being on from EB Australia. I am pumped for Shogun 2 as I am currently nievely thinking that it will return to the old days online with mostly good players with sound tactics and a dislike for cheese. I pre-ordered some time ago. http://www.totalwar.com/shogun2 http://au.pc.ign.com/articles/109/1093664p1.html
  12. Won't buy it, Blizzard are dead to me. DoW2 was pretty good ey.
  13. Check out the forsale section at http://forums.overclockers.com.au, if you can, not sure if you can access it straight away.
  14. I lol'd hard at the SC2 bug that fried GPUs
  15. It's true the 260 is not worth buying anywhere near that price. Don't include overclocking or the 5850 wins easily at 5870+ speeds. Putting it in the realm of a $450-600 card.
  16. First check all your fans then get Furmark or Kombustor and run that, it will tell you what temp the system is getting to.
  17. Those sizes are compressed, not raw.
  18. Well you could go dual drive LTO3/4 or LTO5. LTO5 single $1800+ drive $130+ per tape - 3TB LTO4 single $1200+ drive $45+ per tape - 1.6TB LTO3 single $1300+ (wierd) drive $30+ per tape - 800GB Prices from staticice, obviously you'd be looking for second hand drives and tapes. LTO5 is brand new so good luck with that.
  19. cost? More than your server for the space you need unless you want to swap a bunch of tapes every time you backup or restore.
  20. Exactly what I was going to suggest, as long as you don't buy some 'green' bullshit (looking at you WD) it'll be fine. Though I agree discreate RAID cards are better I have been running a pair of VRaptors in onboard RAID0 for a long time with 0 errors on my main system and they get very healthy speeds for spindles.
  21. Don't deny it bozodos, it's your soulmate.
  22. Huge difference...it's your fault if you brick the phone, HTC aren't going to do it to you later.
  23. There's few 2TB SCSI disks.
  24. There aren't really any solutions cheaper than another array of disks for backup. WHS doesn't software RAID but it can do multiple copies of items onto different physical disks in it's pool (which can be hardware RAID volumes). Couple of PERC/5i or 6i cards with 5TB+ arrays. One in the storage pool the other as a seperate drive that you robocopy and or image to. I have an old Dell 2RU storage works or whatever server that I have been considering getting an eSATA RAID card and 4 of these http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_p...oducts_id=14199 But that would be far more than I actualy need now or anytime soon. 40TB would be shit hot though.
