They are HKS coilovers, so the biggest issue is the shock valving, it is set for a too stiff a spring rate. Ultimately you are better of using a better shock and a softer spring rate, because by simply changing the spring rate, it will still be a crappy ride

We have kits for the GT-4. Best you PM me with specifics - what you want from it, budget, etc

Yes Monty, I ordered the kit.... The hardest bits are the front struts - as I said, I would do it here if that was not such a screw around. I can do the bushes, I have a press, but not the patience required for the strut legs -
around $500 with a professional. call your local reputable suspension experts Availbility is - in stock Delivery is $15 Pricing for parts is on page 1. If you require, PM me Caster kit, page 1

Correcto!!
-
You get 5 circlip grooves in the shocks to raise and lower the height - i guarantee you will get the desired height, and if you don't, you can get a machinist to cut another groove between 2 grooves to get it right - They are height adjustable, just not without removing the shock.

Solid but limited, as always. No drastic quantities, you guys seem to buy enough to keep them in a good rotation

Sorry for the delay in responding, especially to PM's. The video card in my home PC died and it took me 4 days to find out what it was and fix it. So I am about 110 PM's behind at the moment and trying hard to catch up. Add that to the workload at Superior Suspension (12 to 14 hours a day, 6 days a week) and it will take me a few days to answer everyone. Hang in there, if you have transferred money, it's safe, I am not going to run off to Brazil with it. You won't miiss out, the Group Buy isn't going to end soon as I have spent some time with Bilstein securing the shock supply for a couple of months at least. Advanced warning, I am off to the US for 5 weeks from 1st October to 5th November. Checking out some east coast action, Detroit, Chicago, Daytona and the SEMA show in Vegas. So when I don't respond to PM's or emails in that period, I am sure you will understand why. cheers

Try another PM, in couple of days please, as per above. Regarding the strut legs, they are made by Bilstein in Australia. Since the front struts are "shock absorbers" they are "allowed" to be replaced. Just the same as the rear shock is a complete unit. cheers -
Hi Simon, the rear camber kits each add 0.75 degrees of positive adjustment, plus the 0.25 of the standard adjuster. But that's the minimum compared to brand new bushes. Since you have been driving an R32 (14 to 18 years old) around at a such a low height, chances are your bushes are far from new and severely distorted. I have seen as much as 3 degrees change in those circumstances, and that was in a car where the bushes looked OK. Having done heaps of Skyline camber correction myself and sold over 120 kits, no one has reported not being able to achieve the recommended alignment settings. What may stop you is tyre contact with the guard. cheers
-
Yes Luke, just check what style of rear shock your car has, eye or fork at the bottom. cheers

Spring Rates With Bilstein Shocks
Sydneykid replied to djr81's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
The usual GTR weight distributions quoted are 62% front and 38% rear, that's no driver and limited fuel. Corrected for that the above looks like; -----------------------Fuel-------Driver Front-------906---------------------20----------886---------61% Rear-------687---------50----------80----------557---------39% Total-------1593--------50---------100---------1443------- 100% Pretty close. Cheers
