  5. $550 per offence x 6 = *fires up brain $3300 could only hope
  6. It wont be any lighter by an amount that would make such a thing at all worthwhile you're going from alloy 4cyl to cast iron I6, plus all the associated AWD gear complete woftam really. but would be a laugh if anyone could be bothered spending the time and moneh to do it properly
  7. yeah- i stopped paying attention when the 'all carbon, 10 sec CRX' was mentioned

  11. yes he mentions nothing of using them as designed for a single application but i have driven my friends 34 GTt which apparently has an older version, and it definately has slower response than the standard turb- although the car makes much more power too
  12. how's his experience with twin 2540's on a GT-R relevant to a single setup on a GTSt?
  13. GT-SS turbs would give the hella response with decent power there are cheaper local options though
  14. that's the aids-ridden rear steer Nissan thought would be a good idea to fit to most of its performance cars in the late 80's and early 90's one of the only blights on otherwise well thought out products stands for "HIgh-Capacity Active Steering" apparently search the forum for the (many) threads on the ways to disable it

  17. destroys dna and figerprint evidence some joy riders may have dna on file from priors
  18. i assume that's a reference to me, with a few letters missing. lol when was the last time you took your car drifting Dave?
  19. yep- the stock ones will die eventually, and you may even see problems at 300rwkW if they are old splitfires are a good cure, but lots of people use the bosch coils and leads approach these days, which works out a little cheaper, but doesn't look as neat.
  20. what you need to get into your head is that the requirements for a drift car and a drag car are completely different from a power delivery and chassis set-up point of view trying to build a 'hybrid' to do both jobs will result in a car that is compromised for both diciplines to just 'turn the boost down' at the drift track won't help with regard to response- what you need for drift would be to use a turbo that will be able to make around 500hp with the smallest exhaust turbine size possible (somewhere around the .6 A/R range) you'll notice in your video that even at freeway speeds, and changing at redline, the 3L R34 still had a brief pause after gear changes- this wouldn't be great on the drift track
  21. 'cept they get flogged by NSX's around most tracks
