  1. KR4 - Sonic Silver KP4 - Sonic Silver Is this correct? Different codes but the same name? Sureley they are two (albeit slightly) different colors?
  2. You need a water temp gauge mate.
  3. Yeah this was Ben's (Slouch) car. The turbo is a max oversize slide hiflow, rb25 comp, OP6 rear. Well done on the purchase
  4. They are 100% correct mate, nothing you can do but cop it on the chin. This website will proably be very helpful also: http://www.metlinkmelbourne.com.au/
  5. Go for the budget upgrades like I am at your power level. Walbro fuel pump $160 (Make sure you give it a direct power feed) 6 x S15 Manual Injectors $250 (Used, another $100 for ultrasonic cleaning) Z32 AFM and Plug $145 (Second hand) Stage 3 ATP Hi flow turbo $1050 (Used, but only for 250km until he wrote the car off) The above is a cheap and 100% bolt on way to achieveing a solid 230-260rwkw depending on boost level and the exact specs of the turbo you purchase. The trick is knowing exactly what parts you need and the price to pay for them. Then just wait for them to pop up for sale.
  6. Sounds like clutch slip to me mate. If the revs are rising but no power, then it catches all of a sudden, thats clutch slip.
  7. I would imagine unbolting and removing the lines, and replacing the banjo bolts with normal threaded bolts of the same size. This will block it all up for you.
  8. My car will be in there this week anyway, and Ray's is right near my work. I'll be there for sure.
  9. I'm all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake!
  10. Cheers bud, andy chance he would be there today or tomorrow?
  11. Wow, I've never had that sort of treatment from them, shame you and your mates experienced it. The only bad thing I could say about them is when you first walk in you really need to drag them out of the office if you want to look inside the cars, or ask them questions. But I assume that because of the heaps of tyre kickers they would get in.
  12. Yeah I know, what a pain!
  13. And how many cars have you purchased from them? Your unfounded comments are part of the reason there are rules against rubbishing business' on the forums.
  14. Saw a stunning Aston Martin Vanquish in Sth Melb today.....WOW!
  15. I'm not 100% clear on what your saying, but. The stock gauge is probably out slightly so I would suggest the new guage is reading correct. Does it show your boost level accurately at full load in 3rd gear? If so its working ok.
  16. If the guards are just rolled they generally dont need a respray. You generally need a respray if you flare the guard out more than a couple of mm.
  17. Guys just purchased an ATP hi flow, and I've got the stocker off the car ready to bolt the new one on. However because the hi flow is journal bearing I need to have the oil line and banjo bolts drilled out slightly, something I dont have the tools to do at the moment. I really need to get the car moving again by the end of the weekend as its in a mates garage who needs the space come Tuesday. Its a quick simple job but I just can quite do it (needs some welding too I believe) If anyone can help me out or know a workshop that can do it this weekend there is beer/spirits/general bribery on offer. If you can help call or message me 0422 316 890 Cheers Nick
  18. Rod Laver Arena is an above average indoor court, might be booked though
  19. Got any pics of them at night lit up? (As per forum rules you need to post a price)
  20. I just purhcased one of the ATP hi flows, I'm gonna drop it in this weekend and should habe it tuned by next friday (1/2/08) I'll post up the dyno results when its done. Nick
  21. How often should coolant be changed? I'm going to do it this weekend as I'm attempting to install a hi flow, but how often should it be done usually.
  22. Good write up mate, I'll give it a crack this weekend.
  23. Just wanting to get it done as cheap as possible, but if thats the price of a new one then I'll do that.
  24. SSV - A+++ Purchased my R33 through them last year, great example, great price, great blokes to deal with. One of my mates also just purchased a 34 GTT through them, again a perfect example at a reasonable price. Go with them. Carisma - Purchased my S15 silvia through them in '03, it was a clean car and they were happy to help after the sale.
  25. Guys, I'm going to have crack at throwing a a hi flow myself this weekend, but all of the nissan dealers I have called cant get me the two new gaskets I need (manifold-turbo and turbo-dump) until Tuesday. If has, or can locate me of these gaskets (for RB25) I would really appreciate it. Cheers Nick
