Need to clear defect, Ideally looking to buy to make it easier if i get done again... Standard airbox and snorkel Standard steering wheel (non airbag preferred) Standard induction pipe that goes from the crossover pipe down to the intercooler (to replace the one that currently has a blitz bov hanging off it) Oh and while i'm at it, also looking for a battery cover (the panel that seperates the battery area from the bootspace) Wont need them to borrow for a couple of weeks yet, but just interested now if people have got em and what sort of price they might be asking...

Well i've got no boost control then... yet how come my boost stays at a steady 7psi?? Is it due to some sort of restrictor? Cop thought it was part of the pollution control gear, so defected me for it. Need to figure out where it hooks in..

Oh and to state the obvious, yes i got done for the pod and bov too <_<

Got defected cos this thing wasn't hooked up properly (missing a hose connection)..anyone know what it is and where it hooks in???

Actually i didn't notice you, sorry. The only people i saw drive past were old people with the "cop that you bloody hooligan" expression, like i'd been caught doin 120kph or something <_< (you're not old are ya :lol: ) You needen't have worried, i had the cops full attention, could have pulled a skid right infront of us i reckon. OMG that was me!!! (near autobarn right??) Bastards defected me, bov, pod, steering wheel, boost gauge. Ticked 'major' defect now i gotta get it inspected by queensland transport.

i wasn't sure if what i circled was the standard BOV cos thats what the cop was pointing to.. its not hooked up, (note the shiny bling blitz bov further down the inlet pipe :lol: ) f**k i dont need this right now, i'm out of town for at least 8 weeks in a row. how the hell do i find the time to get this sorted out??

Okay i just got defected.. didn't get issued a fine but i have to front up for a full inspection. Heres the notice (sorry its hard to read, blame the coppers shit handwriting). Basically he's said "pollution control equipment disconnected" "Venting BOV fitted" "Race pod filter fitted" "air filter cover missing- ADR" (wtf??) "steering wheel to comply with ADR 10" - (he argued that it was too small and doesnt meet impact rules due to exposed metal) "Gauge on A pillar head impact area" (I have a boost gauge) Heres a pic of my interior- He was also insistant that this is the original nissan BOV, i'm not sure... I have a number of concerns. I have to ring within 7 days to book an inspection at QT where they will go over the faults.. on the form hes ticked 'Modifications" and "engine/drivelines/emissions". (the form says "replacmeent repairs or alterations to the items indicated by the tick and/or the written defects set out below" I know that it is illegal in QLD to have mismatched sized tyres (i got 235 fronts 265 rears) and he didn't tick wheels and tyres...will they still look at this?? I also have coilovers and i dont think the ride height is legal, again he didn't tick 'steering and suspension' will they still look at this?? My plan is to rip out the boost gauge, beg/borrow/buy a standard steering wheel and airbox, make up a blocking plate where my bov is but i dont think that will be enough. I need help on this matter, can anyone whos been in a similar situation or can offer some advice please help????

Try autobarn, people also use them to block off heater cores, radiator integrated tranny coolers an the like... shouldn't be too pricey.

Lookin good jadles I had a single 12 in the back of my old cressida and it went great, sounded better than the newer upspec pioneer i got to replace it later on... Still, thats gotta be loud eh? setup definatley isnt geeky at all :lol:
