actually just an update on this ive had the royal purple in for about 3 weeks and it seems to have disappered from my engine!! (engine oil was low to the point where it started to loose pressure at idle). Was forced to buy some cheap mobil to top it up so i could get back to brisbane (autobarn at buderim didn't have it in stock). not sure if my car is just too tired (as i was previously running 10w60 with no probs and stepped down to 10w40). Will keep an eye on the 3/4mobil 1/4royal purple i have in there now lol.

yeah i got a gtr cluster cos i needed a new gts one, so thought what the hell. I believe the spedo will need recalibrating but everything else should work, as my current spedo doesnt' work at all its going to be an improvement either way. work graciously informed me i'm spending 3 weeks in emerald soon, yaay for me...not

hey daz yeah i need cheerin up. came home to find a nice letter from QT containing another speedin fine (i also got done about 3 weeks ago when i was round dans place gettin my car looked at). Still my gtr cluster got sent down from townsville so i got that aswell. Gunna plug it in tomorro and see what happens.. Hows the car anyway?? what was the damage??

royal purple has acutally been around for a while. I just bought my 1st bottle of this a couple of weeks ago, (10w40) goin good sofar, but at $80 per bottle its not exactly cheap stuff...

Spotted silver stagea yesterday on logan rd with nice lookin gt autogarage graphics on the side.

Everyone knows the r33 owners are pissed about their headlight lenses getting all yellow/cracked. I just was wondering what people are doing about it?? I've done what most owners do which is polish up the outside with metal polish, but the plastic itself has many fine cracks in it, and the inside surface is yellowed anyway. Is there a way to get new lenses custom made (like in perspex or something) because i assume you cannot buy jlenses aftermarket. What i really really want is a setup like this: But i've searched high and low but cannot find them for r33's, although i do recall the autostyle kit for the r32, but that doesn't help as i dont think they did ones for the r33 : So yeah, has anyone come up with a way to get rid of the horrible lenses that doens't involve a $1000 set of new lights or something??

Where is the electric aerial fuse located? (i want to pull it out so the aerial doesn't go up/down every time i put a cd in. (yes i know i could disconnect the signal wire from the h/unit but i dont wanna pull apart the dash unless i have to). I showed the fusebox lid (interior fuses) to my flatmate (she speaks/reads japanese) and she couldn't find it.

check the coolant lines that run through the throttle body, looks like one of them could be the culprit.

If its just for a flat fix ring the racq see if they can recommend a place thats open today?? Maybe try a larger servo that has a mechanic on duty?

Hi all, I really want some nice comfy black leather seats in my r33. I've seen those leatherette seat covers on ebay, does anyone have any experience with them??? Would it be possible to buy a couple of 300zx/ maxima / maybe even patrol?? leather seats and make them fit?? I have r34GTT seats at the moment and i'm not really happy with them, they're really not that comfortable, possibly cos i'm a 6ft1in aussie with a fat ass lol. I've heard the commodore's (VT upwards) have really really comfortable seats, do you reckon they might fit with a bit of persuasion?? Cheers, -Isaac.

Dunno if it helps but z200 seems to be the right one for a r33 (just eyeballed it since there was like 3 part code listings for them wtf) , dunno about r32.
