  2. Hey dori33, what's done to your car and any Dyno sheets? I wanna see where the restriction is how it looks ok a Dyno if your maxing out a Mani. Guys, please don't doubt the manifold, it's been done before and they've have made 280-300rwkw on this set manifold setup, Blake has done a good job. he's done a lot of work for me and I appreciate all his help Thank to Jez you legend, looks like another silly mistake done by my tuner. I think I'm gonns book it in with you earlier cause I can't wait any longer. Speak to you soon mate.

  6. hey mate, the splitter/divider is still on the manifold, it hasn't been removed. the hybrid NZ manifolds do look very good value for $$ spent. i will hit u up if it does come to that, but i hope not.
  7. TBH, i wouldn't be suprised after the last issue with my "boost issue" which was just the EBC set incorrectly. the boost plot is only for the 1bar run, but from what i saw, the 1.2 and 1.4 bar runs was just flat line like the 1bar, no issues there.
  8. i hope it doesn't come to the manifold having to be replaced. we'll see, i'm taking it to Jez's place next weekend

  10. it isn't starving of fuel or anything like that running JJR coilpacks it isn't an ignition related missfire. the walbro pump ran on my old setup and that ran 18psi without any issues. BSA ran the same manifold setup on his and it held 17 or 19psi. my tuner tested it on 1bar, 1.2 and 1.4. both the 1.2 & 1.4bar runs had the same issue and both made less power than the 1bar run. so it seems like anything more than 1bar, its not liking it. maybe i should've rip this out and go with a HG turbo? oh wait, ill have the same issue.

  13. here is the dyno sheet; the line with red dots is the 1.4bar run, it gets good torque but then drops down and doesn't go any further than 180kph (6000rpm) at this time, its missing and running rich and there was black smoke everywhere. appreciate any feedback on this. cheers
  14. picking it up tonight. but judging from last time it had boost issues, 1 bar felt pretty slow (compared to my old setup with similar power)
  15. fresh fuel before it was dropped off from my trusty local Shell Servo, never had an issue with petrol tbh lol who knows what it could be, im gonna play around with it when i get back and will check for any damaged silicon hoses etc, i will send the map to Jez and see if he can spot anything unusual. he made 267 rwkw
  16. going on holidays next month so nothing can be done until then that's cheap as! if it was slipping or wheel spinning, he would be able to tell. cant remember exactly but it was a Exedy heavy Duty something something.
  17. yeah i read about that in his thread, so pretty stumped right now as to what it could be. will find out more info tonight. im booking it into Jez in May to get it looked at. i've had enough dramas with this tuner, its time to move on.
  18. he's not sure if he saved the 19psi one, but ill def have the 14.7psi graph tonight. torque goes up as normal and then drops off. would vac/boost leak cause this? if there was a leak, boost would not hold, or would it? i will get more info tonight as he only briefly discussed the issues over the phone.
  19. sorry, 300rwkw and under only Simon. good news: it holds boost and i get my car back bad news: it makes less power on 19psi (220rwkw) then it does on 14.7 (245rwkw). nothing was changed on inlet side (same as old setup and there was no issues), hot side has been changed and not running a cat to minimise restriction. any ideas?
  20. i might do a group buy on this in CF, so keep an eye out aprox $200-$250 depending on how many is interested. Theyre $400 from Bodyform. not a fan of the SSR TYPE F, they're ugly
  21. they are okay for the street and daily driving, i haven't pushed them too hard yet but i'd imagine they would be alrite in the dry but loose grip when it gets too hot (sorta like how the proxes 4 were after 4laps @ wakie) does anyone know of any places that stock hankook ventus in NSW at a decent price? from tirerack, it equals toa bout $250 a tyre after shipping so anythign around that range, i'd be happy to pay.

  23. if you want a nice stretched look, then on a 18x10" rim id fit 245/40/18 sized tyres. no more no less. i use to see your 33 around canley, loved the fitment! shame you sold the wheels as they suited your car nicely.

  25. awesome build mate! similar to what i did except i de+t at the beginning (for 1.5years until ringland on piston 6 said see ya later) and now its running a complete DET with forge bottom end. there was a member who sold the dash 8 or dash 10 fittings for the rocker cover, that you remove the old ones and pop the new one in. he isn't making these anymore tho, which is a shame as they were perfect! where did you get yours from?
