  1. does it really matter where its made? as long as it has the same strict quality control and pumps out the same quality parts that ARC are known for, that's the important thing!
  2. gtfo with all your Honda talk. with the lovely day yesterday with dry roads, i was able to test the current tune on only 14psi and it is very responsive. will be interesting to compare graphs with mine and a gt3071 to compare boost/rpm when i get it. cant wait to experience the full tune of 22psi in a few weeks! will be lots of fun.. oh and the car sounds extremely g4y with the gate plumbed up, it needs to scream!!
  3. i like what you did with the dash, how much did that job set you back? would your average retrimmer be able to do this?
  4. i reckon merc will be in top 3 fastest in quali.
  5. im surprised there is nothing at all on other forums as well (unless my searching skills suck) looking forward to it R31nismoid!
  6. where are all the pics of the event? can't find them anywhere!
  7. Hahah sorry about that aye Jez! Typo in t post above, iI meant DVS JEZ not dvs_jez for tuning
  8. Anyone wanna sell their 5kg spring??
  9. I feel your pain bro. Same issue with my front brakes running standard rotors, stop squeel sealant, qfm A1RM pads, it is deafingly loud, just ask BSA. After applying the sealant and remachining rotors, it went away for 5-10k kn and came back louder then ever. Thinking of changin to remsa pads as well but it might just come back like in your situation. I am at a total loss with this so I just put up with it.... For now. My old ebc green pads NEVER squeeled at all!! Can we set fire to our cars together???
  10. Skidssssss. Needs more high boost lol
  11. Big thanks to Blake BSA and Jeremy dvs_jez for their help. These blokes are a legend and always willing to lend a helping hand even on a rainy Saturday. The boost drop issue has been fixed. To everyone who's doubted the manifold and gate mounting position, keep hating cause it wasn't the issue. My tuner was a silly mofo, he set the gain too high. Jez had a look at it after swapping with his tial MVR incase it was my gate that was the issue but turns out it wasn't. It now holds the boost flat to red line. Tested at 17psi and 21psi. The whole experience has left me very disappointed in my trusted tuner whom I've used for the past 4years. For all tuning needs on the central coast in syd, contact dvs_jez and for all fabrication work, contact BSA, he's based in the gong and does work there, syd and central coast. Gotta love full boost by 3700rpm It's going in for finishing tune at 21-22psi in 3weeks so will have dyno sheetsresults then.
  12. Sorry artz the color reference was for my gate the wg44mm uses different springs
  13. have a look at Chris "Craved"'s thread for tips as he was attempting to make his own mani as well.
  14. hey scott, yeh i've set the solonoid ports correctly according to the profec B 2 manual.
  15. i'm sure if you buy a copy, spend some time with a hand grinder cleaning it up and get it flow tested, it will work out cheaper and should flow just as good as the greddys. afterall, they are a copy of it. the bloke who sells the mild steel top mount manifolds from NZ has half the plenums, you just add your own velocity stacks & flange and TB adapter, and your off, maybe something worth looking into if you're after something low budget yet decent??
  16. okay i just spoke to my tuner and its getting vac from top port and side port (how i set it up initially) he says it won't be the spring cause they can generally hold boost when set with a EBC/MBC to double their rated pressure (1 bar spring = 2bar boost on ebc/mbc) im still gonna try Jez's gate with 20psi spring and see how it goes, if that fails, i will try his profec B 2 unit and hope for the best. he still believe it has something to do with the mani or turbo as everything else "seems" to be ok, if it does fix the issue with either the above suggestions, i think its time i find a new tuner. if this does not fix it, then i am at a lost and don't know what to do.
  17. thats how i set it up initially but the tuner said it wasn't needed. i dont know if he changed it, jez asked me to check this as well. i will find all out tomorrow.
  18. i would assume so as im not questioning his ability to setup the profec B, hes done it before with no issue. i will post up the settings he has them on tomorrow for thoughts and ideas for me to try
  19. dont think this would be the case Simon, Blake (BSA) had the same manifold setup (but smaller gate) on his car and it wasn't an issue what spring are you using in your gate at 1.5 bar ?
  20. since when did autobarn sold fake greddy plenums? lol they use to be trust/greddy dealers so it might eb real?
  21. sweet thanks mate, appreciate the help. will let you all know the update tomorrow when i get it back.
  22. Yeah, my tuner played with the gain, it doesn't make a difference. thanks mate, getting it back tomorrow morning so will give it a try then. the MVR springs won't work with my gate
  23. unique automotive i need a 0.5 or 0.6bar spring to test after a bit of searching, i dont think the MVR springs work in the older WG44 gate, :\
  24. anyone whos got a tial MVR, are you willing to sell me your wastegate spring? im after a 0.6bar/8.70psi/Small Blue
