no i wouldnt expect so it would cerainly cause the load to go spastic on map tracer however the engine check liight should come on if the afm complettely fails too

ah yeah maybe you are right i reckon it could be possible to make it run with just changes via hand controller the changes from the 26 to 25 fc are only minor minor changes, not massive big changes like 0.1 for dwell etc

it would be looking at the afm. check the plug. check it works. try swapping with a known working afm. even if the afm cuts signal ign shouldnt drop to 0. if you can replicate it watch ETC, SENSOR SW CHECK and look for any sensors that get highlighted in black. if they do, it means the sensor is dead/broken/out of range etc. also knockign at idle is no problem as long as its low (under 10) it might not even be knocking. i dont think its even possible to knock at idle

to make it easier and save yourself issues in the future you should get the loom adapter then you can template it and spit em out like hotcakes

if it was a good turbo then he would have kept it and got it tuned etc i suspect he is selling it cos it sucks. rotaries flow completely different to std piston engines so you may find its laggy as a bitch and then when it comes on, it might be ok. he might have had issues with it surging its ass off while ramping on boost (who knows, and thats the honest truth). i mean its your call. whats the total cost to fit this turbo to your car?

buy an aftermarket ecu then which bypasses it apexi have no problems with the stock immobiliser the bnr34 powerfc is direct swap and should work first shot

buy an BNR34 ecu

try a tyre shop?

the trimming correction % doesn't actually change the values, it just moves it up down on the load axis

maybe a long shot but a long time ago when there were first being installed on skylines there was a bug/issue where it would keep blowing up coil packs obviously yours are ok as it works fine with the stock ecu, but it could be something related perhaps? have u checked all of the tune data? or tried resetting the tune data ?

you sound confused i think you mean to wish to remove the factory airflow meters 600hp is fine with airflow meters but if you insist motec and apexi powerfc will support no airflow meters safc II will not support no airflow meters and wont go anywhere near 600HP

for $2500 you can get a hks gt-rs kit and then sell your old turbo for $500 (if it works) so $2000 changeover it should come as a complete kit too

hi wogsrus, i just dont get it there are probably 20 pages of proven rb25 and turbo combinations there are a complete range of off the shelf garrett items with compressor maps and you can choose what combo's from gcg but you insist on picking random combo turbos with no information and wanting to know if they work? why the take risk on unknown combos that might not work / fit when you can choose proven results and just pick the power figure / liner curve you would like ? and even if its a bargain, youll probably just be disappointed with everyone else that comes along an ebay/friend "bargain" hiflow turbo super combo turbo that either sucks, needs a big list of crap to make it fit or just plain old sucks and performs like a bucket of crap. why take the guesswork when the answers and work has already been done i just dont get it anyhow good luck

look if you are desperate to fix it read the pfc faq in my signature learn how to edit the ign and inj maps do a map tracer replicate the stalling find out what cells it hits when it stalls and adjust them

ok so heres the deal. my set top box has some built in games for the tv. its got tetris, gomoku, minesweeper and a calender gomoku is like chinese connect 5 or something ive been trying to beat the computer since i got it and just cant win i always loose. this is the closest ive coming to not getting trashed does anyone know how to win ? no matter what i do i loose go first, go second, white, black i loose this is gomoku off the set top box its displayed with my projector on the wall so it looks big
