  1. birthday happy gents
  2. well done, congrats on getting it working
  3. the faq will give you all the info you need to fix it properly if you feel you are up for the task. it will just bee some ign timing cells too advanced in the high load area learn how to use map tracer and watch for the check light and then thats where to back out ign timing or if its easier note down what conditions you see the light come on rpm, load, speed, gear etc and give this info to your tuner, they can then sort it out
  4. the razo knob is tops, keep it i hated the stock gear knob and could never find anything remotely normal then i found the razo one and brought it instantly
  5. afm either shagged, unplugged, not grounded, not working or faulty run stock ecu diag if you can to confirm. or check with a multimeter at idle
  6. the powerfc kit uses the same loom and wires its in my sig, have a read of it regarding the boost kit it outlines what wires are for what with a diagram and colour pin out
  7. so if you hold the throttle constant does it do it ?
  8. please answer the following has it always been a problem or just only started occuring? does it ever occur during acceleration? when it does happen do you loose power (volts) too or does the engine just stall? if you look at ETC, SENSOR SW CHECK when the problem occurs, what do you see? i would say based on what you have described that its not tune related, it would be pretty hard to tune it like that do all the lights go dim etc, have u got a battery guage, if so check it when the car has the problem or even look at MONITOR, 1 CHANNEL, BATTVOLT and see what it does when the problem occurs have u got the stock ecu? put it in for 5 minutes and see if you can replicate the problem with it if you can, then run stock ecu diag with consult and it should tell you straight away
  9. it works as in in-out type device be careful when messing around with boost control, if you do it wrong your car will run unlimited boost. that is, if you load the car up and its setup wrong boost wont stop rising so youll just do damage or fry something intercooler pipework -> hose -> stock valve IN -> stock valve -> stock valve OUT -> turbocharger actuator on the black intercooler pipes there is a nipple already. it has a tube on it that runs to where the turbocharger is. its about the same size if not a bit thinner then the red tubing in the photo. you basically interject your unit in replace of the stock boost solenoid intercooler pipework -> hose -> turbosmart boost valve IN -> turbosmart boost valve -> turbosmart valve OUT -> turbocharger actuator so basically find the stock boost solenoid and replace it for your turbocsmart device then away you go. the device is next to the right suspension tower, its attached almost next to it. with two tubes that run to it and some wires. undo the tubes from this and run them to your turbosmart device. drive around and experient. as you load the engine up watch the stock boost guage and make sure it doesnt hit +7 if it does, youve done it wrong and are running unlimited boost (this is bad)
  10. hey tekin i have the same knob i think. just a flush silver razo one it gets pretty cold in winter, not much u can do. but summer is by far the worst. i struggle to change gears if its in the sun for a few hours
  11. i have seen them range from 1300 to 1800 just keep an eye out for them on ebay as they are much more scarce now so people auction them to get more $

  14. each has their place in the car performance world there is no such thing as " no lag " and " 0 rpm lag" its a load of rubbish each has lag and takes time before the compressor is efficient
  15. hey joey jo jo!! haha no worries, see u there
