Who Here Can Read .bin Files For R33's
paulr33 replied to WogsRus's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
if its from a remapper joint they would be silly to increase it only a little, they would have just maxed it out and its not controlled in boost levels, it's based around the afm signal. you should be able to run 1.3 bar no problems -
Good Power On Stockish Boost? Possible?
paulr33 replied to LatinR33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
run 12psi, most gtst's go fast enough at this power level usually around 190rwkw -
thanks for the info, i am reluctant to try anything more at the risk of frying my car of the FC itself i tried it last night, had a constant reboot cycle on the car and hand controller and the fuel pump kept restarting created; what did u guys do for fuel pump control ?

Faq: Apexi Powerfc - Frequently Asked Questions
paulr33 replied to paulr33's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
if you've lost the tune data, then they probably replaced the nvram chip this is the chip that stores your tune data and settings when the power is off if its damaged or cooked it might not update itself with any new changes, which is what u were seeing -
the afr's are stock afrs, get the neo tuned
-
no they grab the older style 25 PFC it runs 2.3 i am pretty sure and uses N001 hand controller they edit the internal version, change the map data, injector flip, change the afm ramp and inj settings and remove VCT
-
the ap eng FC is the older style RB25 PFC with VCT switch remove (and wire), 2 injectors flipped and some map changes. the rest is the same
-
yeah the fc pro you brought is the same as the power excel fc pro, but the one you have is in english the fc pro that got leaked is in japaense, but they both do the same thing. same as datalogit really
-
there is no ETA. please be patient. my car gets fixed today so i can actuall test and try stuff. i have the 26 FC at home and my R33. we have come across another potential issue with the 02 sensor setup as the GTR doesnt run heater but the 32/33 GTST does so it may not work, that is there may be no 02 feedback

Please confirm the checkpoints below Has the initial idle self learning process been performed? Has it been completed? Are the settings for the airflow meter, air cleaner correct? (Some air cleaners from other manufacturers may require setting adjustment. Also, individual vehicles may also require minor adjustments.) Is the setting for the boost control kit incorrect? Is the deceleration recovery RPM correct for the engine? Has the coolant warmed up adequately?(In winter or in cold regions, the low water temp correction feature causes the idle to rise. There may be a delay until the coolant reaches a normal temperature.) If the idle is not stable after checking the points above, please try the following. Unstable Idle Correction-1 Use the Idle Adjust Screw(Nissan :AAC,Toyota:ISCV)to change the amount of auxiliary air. Since the idling A/F will be unstable regardless of being rich/lean, set the A/F to around 13.5 - 15. Unstable Idle Correction-2 Set the idle higher than the target idle for vehicles equipped with upgraded camshafts or engines with modified valve timing that creates a lot of overlap. Also, be sure to set the fuel cut RPM about 400RPM higher than the target idle RPM. For vehicles equipped with lightened flywheels, unstable idle may persist because the flywheel causes the engine RPM's to rise and fall at a much quicker rate than normal. The idle self learning may not be enough to compensate for the amount of auxiliary air. In this case, set the fuel cut return RPM 100 - 200rpm higher and try to adjust the amount of auxiliary air through mechanical means. Unstable Idle Correction-3 An engine with a modified displacement or compression rate will require more air at idle than factory settings. If the idle does not stabilize despite performing the steps above, it may be necessary to enlarge the hole diameter in the mechanical components (Nissan:FAAV, Toyota:FISCV)to adjust the auxiliary air amounts.

<Reference> 80m RB25 airflow meter can measure up to approx. 300ps (221kW) 80mm VG30 airflow meter can measure up to approx. 500ps (368kW) 90mm VH41 airflow meter can measure up to approx. 400ps (294kW) *Output is calculated off of measurable air volume from apexi's documentation, go figure no idea how the q45 is so low

also noticed the help for fc pro is in english just unlocked some good info and some english translationn on some of the features swoittttttttttttttttttt

can u post me the format of the serial # and product key i dont need the exact values
-
ill sort it out, worry not
-
we in vic are simple people i dont know, u guys seem to get caught up in lots of online battles its all good, its just an online forum i mean whatever
-
you guys need to spend less time posting more time running the club its a forum, get real

datalogit i dont believe works with the apexi pro cable. i am pretty sure datalogit only works with their specific box. fc tune should however. would be interested in letting me "borrow" the software so i can try and "make it work"
-
yeah i was doing that as the hotlink to post id's is broken
