  6. i dont think so and 480cc should be fine for 280rwkw
  7. biggest size on the stock rail is nismo 480's if u want to go bigger u have to change the rail
  8. sounds like a case of a too big fuel pump keeps flowing fuel around and heating it up off the rail never heard of a fuel cooler though, nice idea just be careful
  9. yeah sounds like a fake z32 the stock gtst maf maxes at 180/190rwkw if you have a z32 doing the same thing, its fake just to note the PFC ramps and settings DO NOT alter the voltage if the MAF read 5v then it reads 5v there is nothing you can set or change to alter it even choosing the wrong afm wont affect it maxing
  10. mine was good out on the town in melb fri night telstra wholesale took us out for drinks and dinner was ace, heaps of drinks and good food then went to a club which was homo spec saturday didnt do much and today went for a walk then drove my car around the block twice (lost my licence, get it back july) so gay gay gay u ?
  11. this is what a fake z32 looks like http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/photo...z32/page_01.htm you can see a few obvious things wrong, sticker crooked, plastic has wrong finish, afm is dodgy/wonky and it looks overall really cheap i think you have a legit looking z32 but something else might be wrong? what v do you see at idle? if you rev it a few times does it return to the same v at idle ?
  12. yeah ill be fine, ill sort something out
  13. for our website ive just finnished a sort of info-brief for the deca event and what it entails you might be interested to have a read and view of the some of the photos / video to see what its all about http://www.sauvic.com.au/deca
  14. i bet its inj or afm maxing, mild gtst's making 200rwkw ish max the afm and sometimes inj duty occasionally but yeah ive seen "tuners" just dial back the CAS cos they cant be f**ked dealing with map looking and map tracert to debug it properly
  15. ok, so youll be with the early group? should be easy then ill see what time i can leave work on ffriday ill aim to leave at lunch time, give me some time to get home and get ready what time would u want to be at my place to be at donnybrook by 4:15 ?
  16. take it to a performance workshop, will probably take them 2 seconds to figure out if you can show them the wastegate is opening at idle
  17. yeah sounds like a bogus z32 afm
  18. read the pfc and learn how to use map tracer to debug where it is then just back out some timing in those areas should take no more than 10 minutes on the street with a friend
  19. ok forget power and rwkw they are useless. when is it knocking? on max load? at a certain rpm? when you do a specific driving pattern? up hills?
  20. the pfc faq in my sig covers dealing with knocking and identifying it what levels of knocking are you seeing under normal operation?
  21. happy birthday to greg (blind_elk), anthony (ant97gtr) and adam newton - wishing you a happy birthday and all the best :sorcerer:
  22. i could be up for this, let me see if i can get off work early could i scab a lift with someone ? ill need pickup from my place in tullamarine (no licence is the shittest thing EVER)
  23. are u sure you are thinking of the same thing? i think you are confused what is the "wastegate opening" how are u measuring if its opening? what does it look like? does it make a sound? i think you are thinking of the stock bov noise
  24. 1) identify what it causing the engine light to come on (could be afm, inj or knock) 2) correct the triggering cause (too much ign timing, poor fuel, disable afm max warn, disable inj max warn) 3) notify tuner what you changed / found / adjusted
