  4. do you know the difference vs ball bearing ?
  5. why did you pick 280rwkw? 250rwkw is easier
  6. clutch suspension ball bearing turbo instead of plain bearing or journal air intake tyres intercooler
  7. a big update today; Added FC pro djetro doesnt exist Added fc pro pics Added air temp replacement sensor Added map sensor list Added other ecu alternateives Added updated order delays Removed bankruptcy at the top notice Added keep the pfc faq alive Added oem top and side injectors (latency) under Injector Changing
  8. From the PowerFC FAQ (in my sig) Can I drive around without it being tuned for a few days? Months? ? You can drive the car around as you would normally but you should take care not to put stress on the engine. Basically don't fang around in it, as you could be running unsafe A/Fs etc and just causing more damaged. Best to get it tuned. Make sure you watch the knock levels if you do this to make sure there isn't excess detonation.
  9. jack makes 240rwkw at 128km/h or 4570rpm yours makes 230rwkw at 128km/h sort out the misfire then we'll see how it looks also this is in a rwd chassis? so take out some 4wd drive loss on jacks setup
  10. hiflow wont do 280rwkw

  14. yeah im going to decat my car before i get my licence back so it should shoot flames for sure its pops its ass off on back off and gearchange. ive had it set like that for probably 5-6 months maybe. daily driven, sometimes babied around, other times given some abuse etc. safe tune, aggressive ign timing all over the shop, 12afrs and normal plain vanilla 12psi and normal 98ron fuel (mixed servos)
  15. ive often wondered of doing a map trace find the exact path it follows then edit one of the cells along the way in the high load area and bang in 0 deg ign timing should be a laugh
  16. i think out of the box #1 runs rich and #6 runs lean? ive seen a few FC's that have less for #1 and more for #6
  17. i dont run less ign timing, i run zero. so that whole top row under SETTING, IGN MAP is all 0's i did it for a bit of fun. that row is only touched on gearchange or when you back off on the throttle. ie at normal idle you are on P02 as there is airflow load. when you dump throttle or gearchange airflow drops to 0 or near zero so it hits row P01. running 0 deg IGN timing makes the car pop, fart, backfire, crack so its just a bit of fun. i love it. everyone comments on how much my car pops, farts and backfires when driving around. i dont believe there is any other gain than noise to be honest
  18. ask 10 local tuners what ecus they tune and go from there dont buy an emanage if there is only 1 local tuner
  19. been a while since an update. not much has changed on my tune. just some minor touch ups ive lost my licence so car has seen bugger all driving. get it back in july, woohoo!! anyhoo here is my ign maps vs stock apexi defaults, as you can see i run stacks of timing. below 3 grand you can dial in heaps more with minimal knocking. the car drives ace and has amazing throttle response. IGN Compare.xls Normal excel format. Positive number means ive advanced the timing, negative means retarded. You can see on row zero I am retarded by about 30 deg this is because my P01 row is all zero's. This gives the car lots of pops and farts and makes it sound really cool & fun, race car style.
  20. get a nismo fuel reg i would consider changing the pump or hard wire it to 14v (cubes did a howto guide), the wallbro's can be known baddies what ecu or piggyback are u running? i see no mention of either. i would suggest stand alone. powerfc is ideal, but pick whatever you like. either way monitor injector duty and go from there. stock ecu on those upgrades = bad idea and poor net results the car will drive like brand new with a complete tune
  21. list your full mods please
  22. good point, still normally the ratio's are close to each other
  23. 0.50 and 1.06??? interesting combo
  24. the documentation with the injectors should tell you their latency
  25. that is the controller, the 5 dials are it its the older generation apexi stuff still works, just no fancy screen
