  1. the people i can think of that i met at hooters n1gtr (steve) jess andrew smoky doodz marsss miss turbo liz bunta anna also met beer baron (didnt know it was him until later on haha)
  2. and what about this wrx from wakefield????? http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/photo...ay2/day2-91.jpg http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/photo...ay2/day2-92.jpg http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/photo...ay2/day2-94.jpg flower power
  3. i would expect so, the gtst has been setup properly and tuned so it should have good average power & suspension / handling the 260rs sounds stock
  4. the turbo is too small, with stock diff gears 4.11 it will nose over very early and run out of puff it will probably come on too early as well. i suggest you look into a larger housing, something that will give linear response 18psi is only relevant to how much exhaust gas the engine flows. 18psi on an rb20 and 18psi on an rb30 are completely different things
  5. fc hasnt left japan yet, waiting on the ems tracking number i have the loom at home, so im waiting on the fc to arrive
  6. yeah a good manifold setup and external gate gives you the best response
  7. oh its the 260RS stagea, yeah BCNR33 RB26 in the WNCG33 stagea shell, not a bad car but its still a stagea with the bulky setup/handling the gtst will dominate it in all aspects i would expect
  8. #1 style, power, response, handling, performance, looks, resale value, mods, available parts for it
  9. my car isnt being used, you can use, you break anything you buy it the tyres are pretty ordinary (k104s on the rear) not at the indicator but not far off and the diff does what it feel like sometimes, dont know if its locking properly or not let us know cos ill have to organise getting it up there (no licence) im not competing so its all yours if u want
  10. highflow would give better response and cheaper but if i was to choose between 2835 and gt-rs i would choose 2835 pro-s as you can choose the a/r size whereas gt-rs is fixed i also think the gate setup on the 2835 pro s is a bit better
  11. paulr33

    Ztuned R34?

    im sure its cheap too
  12. check out the link in my sig it can be done needs a few changes (software, wires, settings)
  13. yeah so if you are seeing psi increase after a fmic then move the actuator signal to pre intercooler
  14. and you dont think this is a good enough reason? this is a prefect reason to not like a specific ecu judging by your comments the a mines ecu is the best, but only one place in the world can tune them but it still good right? whatever ecu a person choose there should be lots of local tuners who can work on it that way you arent locked into sucker pricing and arent stuck with one tuner who may or may not be able to deliver what is required
  15. its such an integral part, it would be like using fake chinese injectors do you really want to risk it ?
  16. buy a nismo one if you are buying a new one www.nengun.com
  17. this also depends on where the actuator gets it signal from on the r32 it comes off the compressor cover so it wouldnt be an issue on the 32 but the r33 gets it post intercooler so its after intercooler core drop
  18. 0.85bar daily with a good tune and mines ok after 165,000k's but its not say it wont die tomorrow
  19. nengun have completed my order and it should have ems tracking in a day or so theres about a 1 month delay on orders from apexi so if want a new PFC be prepared to wait a month
  20. keep the SR in it hks 2530 4.3 diff gears
  21. we in vic dont drink
  22. assuming R33 as its the most common 0.50 a/r compressor (ish) 0.60 a/r exhaust side (ish) plastic/nylon compressor wheel ceramic exhaust wheel ball bearing oil cooled water cooled it fails due to excessive heat and shaft speed. excessive heat from a poor tune or "too much boost" from the user being a stupidhead and trying to squeeze that extra psi or two into it. it can also fail from excessive shaft speed which creates heat/friction from running massive amounts of boost. recommended rebuild interval i think is 100,000kms
  23. straight out of the powerfc faq; Considerations before use 28. # Apexi SAFC vs Apexi PowerFC, whats the difference? http://paulr33.skylinesaustralia.com/docs/...erfc-faq.htm#58 Apexi SAFC vs Apexi PowerFC, whats the difference? My cousin Peter just brought an Apexi SAFC for his R33 skyline and he had it tuned and made 204rwkw. It cost him $300 and $250 for a tune. Most people simply assume you can make power and expect 220rwkw. They will both make very close to the same amount of power if both have been tuned correctly. But clearly the PowerFC winds hands down if it has been tuned correctly and has a bulk of its load points tuned. If you have the IGN and INJ tuned in the low load / light load areas the car will feel much better to drive, response will be better and fuel economy better than the SAFC + stock ecu. The main difference is the PowerFC will support more mods and if tuned correctly will feel like a new car to drive. Both are only as good as the tuner. Car 1 - rb25det with SAFC Car 2 - rb25det with PowerFC The truth is that car #2 isn't likely to make twice the power as the ecu costs twice as much. It all comes down to tuning and how the car drives, average power is the key here. The engine should feel nice on throttle response (IGN timing), come on boost nice (IGN timing) and cuirse will with good economy (INJ tuning). I would expect the power difference to be 5 to 10rwkw at the most in the midrange and top end. Distinct Advantages: Adjustable IDLE Configurable knock warning Configurable injector warning Configurable airflow meter warning Airflow meter change support Injector change support Complete ignition map control Complete fuel injection map control No speed cut no excess airflow cut (aka boost cut) The main problem with an SAFC and increase power levels is that its still a piggyback and when you tune more and more, it's still a comprimise. As you try and lean it out more, it (the stock ecu) advances the timing as a result, which results in more detonation. The end result is it has to be richer than is needed, to avoid detonation. With the PowerFC you can simply dial in whatever AFR's you like and IGN timing to suit, anywhere on the map. This would certainly give a good power advantage in the midrange and top end.
  24. i think you mean wastegate, it looks normal wingate is a windows app used for weenies who cant network properly
