  1. it wont pull timing as water temp goes up, once water temp is 80deg or higher correction is 1.0 (so no correction) in fact, it actually advances the timing and runs richer under 80deg to get the engine to optimum temp i dont see a correlation to knocking and water temp or 80deg ?

  6. WtrTemp when the engine is warm and stable should be around 70 to 80deg. Knock at idle should be 0 or like 1 or 2 at the most. Give the engine a few revs, ensure it returns to zero. BatVolt should be around 14 at idle. Too low is bad and Too high is bad. over 15 is bad and under 14 can also be bad. Airflow should be stable at idle, around 1100mv (millivolts). Should increase when you give the engine a rev and should return to around 1100 ater it returns to idle EngRev should be similar to what the stock tacho says, it may be out a little bit. Ensure it follows stock guage when you give the engine a rev. InjDuty should be around 1 to 2% at idle and should increase considreably when you give the engine a rev. Boost (if not using the boost kit it will be ---) should be around -500mmhg at idle and should goto near 100mmhg with a free rev. IngTmng at idle should be around 15 or 20deg. Should increase considerably with free rev.
  7. you guys are heaps of fun nice to meet you all nice to see everyone who met us in nsw back in nov hope u guys had a blast, we did im sure there are some funny photos and some bad ones the main event review is here if you want to have a read the results i think will go up in there too when they are done http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=168413
  8. no progress yet, my 33 has a flat battery as im not driving it so i cant test if the 26 fc boots up on the 25 without any changes (dang) will get car sorted in the next day or so and begin testing got some pics of the latest 26 FC have noticed some changes when i opened it up theyve gone for a newer style 78F4 which is tiny compared to the older one and its not in a normal cpu socket, its directly on the board also some other minor changes on the board and much newer reversion FC 21 A0 is the board version will be interesting to see what version hand controller and firmware it has. the packaging looks updated a little and better than what i recall my 25 being stock ecu vs 26 fc and loom adapter loom adapter close up long shot of loom connected up 26 fc serial # and model # main board long view the smaller cpu is on the right half way down you can also see the plug in socket (white) about half way down on the board assuming some sort of internal flash upgrade / change port for apexi staff main board version #
  9. as u sure this gets "twin turbo" classification? i would call this a bi-turbo setup as you have two turbochargers of different sizes one small, one big. well marketing call it twin turbo, but to me twin implies to turbo's of the same size
  10. oh didnt kbnow it was down, my bad sorry

hey gang thanks to everyone who helped and made the day what it was. the event, weekend and the people. yet another signature deca event run by the crew. thanks to all the officials, volunteers special thanks must goto the lovely people who helped me on the bbq. nat, claire, mel and al - you guys really helped out so much and really made it very successful. the bbq is usually an absolute warzone and stress head city but saturdays was a piece of piss. cant thank you guys enough for the help good to meet more of the nsw crew, they had a blast and seemed to enjoy our event hope u guys have a safe trip home and im sure there are some funny photos fanging around over n out
  14. its covered in the PFC FAQ (in my sig) but here is what can turn the engine light on; factory sensors - value is out of range, not working or faulty knocking over 60 injector duty over 98% airflow meter max 5.0v so if your TPS dies it will throw on the check light and highlight TPS under SENSOR/SW CHECK in black if the AFM dies it will throw on the check light and highlight AFM1 under SENSOR/SW CHECK in black
  15. I'll be looking for someone to help me on the bbq as well tomorrow I'll need help from about 11am ish onwards just cooking crap and serving dudes when they come
  16. see u then ring us if u dont see me
  17. #1 map tracer repeat the stall then tune those areas it runs across when it stalls or #2 get a real bov #2 is easier
  18. i dont have an rb20 here so i can either try and find a donor car or we can wait for cubes to try it when he gets his 26 FC
  19. fc arrived today nice shiny new PFC GTR33L is the model no# will be sure to open it up to get some board pics and start testing soon i am busy this weekend but maybe during the week
  20. who ever brought the datalogit box will have access to download it its on the yahoo groups forums for registered datalogit users
  21. you will need the older rb25 version 1.x and not the universal one what style cable u using? if usb, try serial, serial always works better also make sure no stupid apps running on the pc/laptop that might lock the serial port the most common issue is running apps or usb dongle
  22. what happens when u try datalogit to connect? what ver of datalogit do u have?
  23. HTTP Mirror added for Event Schedule
  24. i tend to agree but jamming the jaycar box onto the loom is manual labour the way i had it proposed was all off the shelf parts the customer just orders so i dont do anyhthing per say. whereas a jaycar box would mean me to get the loom, mod it more and then add it etc
  25. hi, given a recent influx of information i see very little need for this to continue. please read http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...howtopic=167846 in detail it covers that 25t PFCS are still available, just in low volume which means all the factory stuff works, no need for loom and VCT works it has a higher price tag sure but its not too bad. my 26FC & loom & changes was going to be near 1250 anyway at pure cost and parts i will think about rb20 however and cubes testing this
