  1. check the block is earthed to the chassis/battery from under the plenum, big fat black cable
  2. makes sense, have a look at the cat while in there, maybe time to hit it now with dump pipes if buying a turbo kit
  3. if you just lost the one turbo, the most sensible option could see would be to just replace the one turbo with a stock second hand replacement, that way you arent throwing too much money at the engine. otherwise you could look at the 2530 kit, they are a direct bolt on with not too much lag and enough room to play with if you decide to upgrade the engine later on. depends on how much money you want to spend but from the sounds you want the most affordable option until you sell your GTSt and can buy a R34 motor and swap

    Autobarn

heard good stuff from my mates with jap cars and I was in there a bit for my GTR, so it made sense if they can do it in a **** they can do it in a Ferrari, after-all it is just a head unit right? *WRONG* p.s. gold coast autobahn isnt in too shit a suburb, and gold coast car sound is close by too, and they had shitted up jobs for us before too anyway
  5. Great pictures thanks for sharing them with us.

    Car Keys

maybe fold the fabric of space as we know it, wouldnt require a time machine at all or seriously buy a set of lock barrels and keys from a wreckers and swap them all at once, piece of piss to do
  9. yeah the show was pretty cool, I watched it with an open mind and I assume thats what was required to enjoy it, best thing is in a similar format we will see some local cars tested! and ditto on the track, it seamed pretty GHAY to me, not many corners and a big straight, was taped at Camden Airport
  10. think it was the Haltech one
  11. Congrats to Nissan, it beat some porsche, some BMW and some Merc, oh and a lotus around their track in the new season of Top Gear Australia; GTR time was 1:09 I think and the porche was around 1:11???
  12. should the pulley stud on the front of the block be able to be removed? i tried taking it out of mine and got fooking nowhere but left some nice groves on it
  13. need to do some adjustments after this weekend

White R34 GTT floating around seymour recently, got me curious... got a GT wing on the back
  16. By increasing airflow speed under the car by streamlining the underbody and reducing drag, dynamic pressure will increase, static pressure will decrease, the end result should be a net downwards 'lift', it should suck the car on to the road, hell im only going off what I have read, what race teams use and my knowledge of aerodynamics. The rear diffuser needs to allow the airflow to accelerate and rejoin the air from above the car, if that one curves upwards and you have sufficient flow coming from the front the overall effect will be like that of an upside down aerofoil
  17. im keen too, anyone else able to find details for matt?
  18. where are the restrictors for sale???
  19. cant help with the lift but i'd suggest the train
  20. Is anyone heading up from melbourne way? Im stuck in Seymour and the GTR is still on the gold coast and need to try get a lift up with someone???
  21. could you pm me a link to the kit you are going to use please? thanks dave
  22. you going to run an oil line back down to the bottom? i dont plan on to much track use so i was thinking of fitting a crank collar for the pump, putting a 1.5mm restrictor in and just drilling out the return lines more.
  23. from some guy off ebay a while ago, i was hoping it would be better than most the online versions but it wasn't, still that same scanned pages from the nissan manual. I made all the index's so you can click to follow to the page, mage all the page numbers line up so if you want to goto CH23 you simply type it in down the bottom in the page number selector, I added bookmarks for all primary sections and then split off into each sub section, then left the text recognition go for the night so if i want to search for something like engine removal and i am being lasy i can just search the text for it. damn way too much time on my hands and not having my car around is getting painful!!!!!1111oneoneone
  24. im almost finished the initial engine out guide and i have! just indexed, linked and bookmarked, and OCR'd the GTR service manual so you can click to links inside the book or even search for text, will figure how to share later on... both in PDF
  25. does that mean Ferrari, lotus, Porsche and even the new nissan GTR had all been designed and manufactured with under body aero-pieces that have 0 effect on the road?
