sometimes nissan pumps dont like being run after picking up crap from the tank, try reverse the wiring to the pump motor so it blows fuel back into the tank, then put in fresh fuel, wait 10mins for it to settle and drive, seen this on skylines, pulsars, sentras and 180s before, and each time this works

I'm having a prick of a time undoing the 4 bolts holding the prop shaft onto the output of the gearbox, and ideas? they are the 17mm bolts, already tried air gun while Sloane was pushing the other way on the nut with a spanner... driving me mad!!!!

without the speed sensor on my dash the following happens; speedometer works (its cable driven) HICAS failed - so dicked it off Power steering is locked into high speed mode, it actually starts the car in low speed and then kicks over after about 30 seconds or so. ECU cannot detect speed signal to feed to consult ALTESSA works ABS works not sure what happens with the sensor in as i am having problems finding one for an early model GTR r32

the speed sensor on the dash sends a speed signal to the HICAS power steer ECU isn't that right?

mine does this too, and its not speed limiter as the speed sensor is rooted in the dash so it cant loop back too the ecu

im going to give the electronic method a go tonight, disable idle adjustment from engine and check the drop in rpm in each cylinder, measure it and see what makes the least difference. in theory this should tell me if i have 1 cylinder that is crap right?
