  1. the speed sensor triggers high or low power assist for steering via the ECU from what i have read, when your steering wont return to normal does the speed sensor still show on the laptop? could be a intermittent connection
  2. Looking at purchasing a car to add to the family, its a R32 GTR with a little work done on botl ons, something I noticed when checking it out was a buzzing noise coming from the fuel tank/pump? This is noticable over the exhaust system when outside the car at the rear, im my current GTR you cant hear the fuel pump even from inside the car when its running I was thinking of taking it to a local Nissan performance guy to get checked out but would it be more likely to be a crook fuel pump, or an aftermarket one with higher flow rate? Would i be safe in assuming that this should only be a $200-$300 thing to replace?
  3. Hi guys, I had to wire my rear sensor up and not sure why but when I graph the output of the front and rear sensor in Data Scan they seam to be at opposite places under load, when one is reading a higher value, the other is low, and so on it switches back and forth. Have added a picture, can anyone else with a R32 GTR confirm this is right?
  4. moe helpful crap. R32 Sensor diagram Please note the pin numbers do not line up if you have to cross-wires, instead R33 Sensor diagram Keep an eye on what wires go where if using R33 GTR O2 Sensors in a R32 GTR

  16. Grrrr... car is back togeather but no spark and no power to throttle position sensor, anyone recommend or want to look at my R32 GTR? been through the diagnostics steps in the engine manual, but i just cant get a spark to the coils, and the signal to the ignitor seams to be stuck on 0.2V all time on each channel david 0407 966 563 car is in a garage in ashmore near the bowling alley and can be seen after hours but im not too keen on moving it right now if i can avoid
  17. Hi, Since putting the car back togeather the plugs wont spark! injectors are working (so CAS is working) TPS shows a error code in consult and reads full throttle all the time, the idle peddle switch is working fine though. new plugs in, but they wont fire, neither will the old ones, i have earthed them on the car and im checking for a visual spark when i multi-metered the ignitor pack not all channels were getting voltage, if the TPS was reading full throttle before the disassembly would the car have flooded out non stop or would it just have run rich but regulated via the throttle body butterflies limiting the air? i double checked the earth on the coil loom, it has no resistance from the block to the earth connector and to the ignitor earth either
  18. where abouts are you mate?
  19. putting my GTR back togeather tonight and i was wondering what these two hoses that were blocked off by the previous owner do, and if i should return them to factory. in this image its the hose curling back around inside the bay, it has a bolt in the end! it is connected on the same rail as my outlet side for my boost controller in this image it comes off the same assembly, but different rail and further down? also should i use liquid gasket along with the normal gaskets for the throttle bodies or will the normal nissan one be sufficient and sealing the air?
  20. this is the same procedure to follow if you need to replace the bearings in the pulley, just stop once the pulley is off and take it too and engineering shop, cost me $20 in labour and $20 for the bearing to change it over.
