  1. Sorry to go off topic but you needed a nismo clutch modified? WHY MAN? They are among the best clutches, dont rattle, atleas mine didnt and feel prety much stock...
  2. GTS-T: A couple of grand will be more then enough for dedicated oh shit money GTR: 10K or there abouts, unless you like your car being off the road for a long time...
  3. What would be the better of the two? They are both in a similar price point (slightly more for the nagisa auto). Anyone had any experience with either? I need upper arms fairly quickly as the bushes in mine are very shite.... Bix of both bellow

  5. Yo can get an Exeptionary licence that allows you to drive to and from the place of work, usualy have to wait a few months beforew you can apply for it and it has to be applied through the courts
  6. To all the people who say a GTR is impractical as a daily, try either a: actualy driving one as a daily or if you have one b: fixing the damn thing properly. Ive been driving a 32gtr for a fair while now daily covering up to 300ks's a day (its my car for my onsite computer business) and have never had any drivability issues. Its a built engine, stock size turbos, doing 284hp atw and an ORC 709D twin plate. Before the ORC had a nismo twin plate and no one even knew it was there (me or workshops) until we took it out. At last check driving reasonably agresivley (lots of foot flat 2nd gear down freeway onramp) i got exactly 13.3 ltrs/100 ks But the main thing is why are you asking peoples opinions on a forum? everyone has different standards of what they think is good on the street. You realy need to drive both yourself, no other way about it. And I dont know about you but I shure as hell wouldnt be making a decision involving that much $ without driving both cars first

Haha, get use to explaining to everyone that it rattles because its so hardcore Mine has a nismo slave cylinder so is light as a feather, would have actualy prefered it a bit heavy er but use to it now... Was there when he was taking your fronts off, was gone by the time he was puting them back on, figured wasnt gona hang arround for the second round of lifting that box
  10. Haha, I was actualy there helping them lift the gearbox when they were trying to get it in with your front pipes still attached, not fun, bloody heavy bugger to... No matter how the box was angled it wasnt going in... The clutch does bite but you realy get use to it fairly fast, yours rattle to?

  13. Thats a bit annoying as I just paid someone a fair chunk of money to recon the head while everything was apart.... may have to have a chat to them

  15. Have never noticed the oil level drop at all, this is the first time ive actualy seen it blow smoke and it was sittin idling at the lights, cant seem to repeat it again
  16. Oil I generaly find on the thread of the plug strangely... nothing on the electrode itself, different burn patern on the base of the plug though
  17. Nope, not using any oil. With plugs, they have been changed a couple of times now and no 5 always has some oil on it. Plug gaps are all 1.1mm if that maters
  18. Hey, is it not to late to get in on this? my inner upper arm bushes are shagged and are moving arround, not fun. If not to late what do I need to do and whats the eta looking like?
  19. Was sitting at the lights today and sudenly noticed a fairly large cloud of blue smoke coming up behind the car, well past the spoiler... This is the first time its happened, cant reproduce it again. Also there is some oil on the no 5 spark plug every time its been changed. Car is 32GTR. Engine has been built, pistons are tomei, clearances are 2 thou. Head has been recondisioned and has JUN bronze valve guides and new nissan valve stem seals. Turbos are stock that have been rebuilt with steel wheels and new seals by Slide. The whole package has done 11000K's so far and is running on Motul Chrono V 10w40 oil. Compression has been done and was 175psi in all cylinders except 5 which had 180psi (and a bit of oil on the plug) Ideas of what it can be?

  22. Did you use the right bearing carrier? Have to decipher the instructions to figure out which one is right for you.

  24. Ive got a nismo oil pump and had no issues with it so far 10000k's so far
