  1. Dont have an adgustable cam gear set to god know what back there do you?
  2. So how would the yamaha ohlins compare to something like tein monoflex and hks hypermax 3's? These specific ohlins: http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/fullimag...;name=Aluminium (Separate Tank) Complete Kit&car=Nissan Skyline GT-R BNR32 (RB26DETT) $3900 + shiping or http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/fullimag...32%20(RB26DETT) $6100 + shiping
  3. Yes, you will need the horn to work. Filter needs to be secured, that's all, they will not give you permits for just a filter and strut brace as they are not required.
  4. Smurfs blood here (lightweight shock proof) andworks wonders, 32GTR gearbox, was a bit knotchy before, now smooth as butter. Wether it lives or not, I guess time will tell but extremly happy so far.

    Wanted

How much are they new? (sent you PM to)
  6. Found the acts, It is part of the ROAD TRAFIC (VEHICLES) BILL 2007, Bellow is clause 73, there are other parts to it... 73. Form and content of defect notices A defect notice is to -- (a) be in writing in a form approved by the CEO; and (b) specify the alleged defect ; and © set out each direction given under section 72(1) and, if relevant, section 72(2); and (d) state when the notice comes into force, being either -- (i) when the notice is issued; or (ii) a later time. The part that interests me is the "specify the alleged defect" as writing "post manufacture modifications to comply with vehicle standards regulations" is not specidying any alleged defect... Thoughts? Here is a link to the bill for those that are interested: http://www.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/sinodisp...ml?query=defect and here is the link to the Explanatory Memoranda for that bill: http://www.austlii.edu.au/cgi-bin/sinodisp...ry=defect#disp8
  7. Definitely get same rolling diameter tires front and rear, otherwise one set of wheels are technically trying to travel a greater distance then the other set of wheels, the attesa thinks you have slip and engages 4wd, doing so constantly overheats and wears out the clutch plates in the transfer case
  8. I think he means that the wheel itself is still attached to the turbo....
  9. Got the one's for the GTR, not shure if they are the same, here is a pick anyway...
  10. Yes it does affect it as the rolling diameter is different
  11. The reality is that any of the high end oils today are well and truly better then what was used when these cars were new so pretty much all synthetics will work fine as long as you choose a sensible viscosity
  12. Yes the oil will go everywhere. I have a gready oil cooler with oil filter relocation with the filter mounted on the drivers side strut tower. Need to put a fairly big rag arround the filter as you undo it to catch all the oil. Heres a pick of the oil filter mount (no filter on it)
  13. I would imagine that with the momentum and weight of the car if the shaft does dig into the tarmac it would just shatter into pieces rather then launch the car... Maybe wrong?

Chasing a CAS for a 1989 R32GTR, tell me what you have, prefer new Thanks
  15. If you are incapable of driving with one hand on the wheel while having a conversation with someone then you shouldn't be driving at all as you lack the mental capacity to operate a motor vehicle.
  16. I high flow cat would prety much do the same thing a bypass pipe would.... just a bit more expensive
  17. Anything over 50 I would have looked at...
  18. if you have a leak I would say that its running rich and not lean as not all the air is getting to the cylinders... Fix the leak first of all then put it on a dyno to check tune/af ratios
  19. In bizarro world maybe
  20. That makes no sense... He wasnt anywhere near 30ks over and the 2 ks he did give made no difference to which fine bracket he was in...
  21. Why must all the stuff I want always come up when I dont have the finances to get it... Good luck with sale, if these hang arround for a bit I will prob get them
  22. Haha, you dodgy buggers. Not going to be removing it myself, don't want to dig a deeper hole for myself. Just want to explore all options instead of just bending over and taking it, although it seems that's where its heading anyway
  23. Good stuff, any chance of a hook up?
  24. Specifically the guidelines by which they should be handed out, how many things have to be wrong...etc Any legislation regarding it would help
