  1. I was at P.I. on Saturday with the MSCA. A great day, good weather and no issues - apart from dodging oil from old Alfa dungers. Ripped a 1.52 with a best theoretical of 1.51 if I ever get turn twelve right. Regards Andrew
  2. New P.I. time = 1.52.5 Regards Andrew
  3. Thanks dude, though from your vid it looks like you're going fast enough. Get it on a track and off the street - it's more fun I'm only learning to set a GT-R up but you might want to get a second opinion on that alignment. It just seems a bit under done on the left hand side of the car. Please forgive me Gary (SK), I'm going to attach something of yours I found very useful. PSI_GTSII - you might want to have a look and talk to the alignment shop again. Regards Andrew Suspension_Setup_Notes.doc
  4. Front Camber = 1 deg on left wheel, 2.1 deg on right Rear Camber = 1.5 deg on left wheel, 2.2 deg on right Toe is in deg which is hard to map to mm - looks like small toe out on front and even smaller on rear. Caster is 4 deg on front left and 2.4 deg on front right. I dunno about anyone else, but it looks all over the shop.
  5. Thanks for that , I'm running the car a Philip Island on the weekend, I'll be interested to see how they hold up. Regards Andrew
  6. SK, With ref. to your response above, I am getting some NOLTEC adjustable arms fitted at the moment. What is your opinion specifically on these and compared to the CUSCO versions, be it good bad or indifferent. Regards Andrew
  7. Then again, I can't talk. Howard just destroyed a brand new set of my Hawk Blues by getting them cut too small.
  8. Bwwwhahahaa, Kaching baby.
  9. Hi Neil, We (the wrx club) have been approached by CAMS for a sort of informal review on safety. It is fair to say that we attract arguably the fastest club cars in Victoria on a regular basis - even PCV don't manage to field the sort of horsepower that normally appears at Vic WRX club sprints. It hasn't gone anywhere yet but it certainly wont go away in a hurry. Watch this space. Regards Andrew
  10. Well done mate - [darth vader voice] Impressive, most impressive...[/darth vader voice] Regards Andrew
  11. Well thanks to Ray (SXR) I have a temporary fix for my split hose. A very generous gesture I must say as he doesn't know me from a bar of soap. As long as my amateur mechanics hold up, Sandown should be a hoot. Look out Jack. Regards Andrew
  12. He has ordered a complete silicone kit for me - that has yet to arrive I presume. I might take you up on the stock one if it comes to the crunch. AA
  13. Still waiting for my intercooler hose from Ben
  14. Here are the results of this years Sandown Maserati Day. Note the time for one S. Markov http://www.maserati.org.au/download/pdf-fi...4%20Results.pdf Regards Andrew
  15. Looks like Snowy is putting his money where his mouth is and organising a trip to put all this keyboard racing to rest. I would be a guaranteed attendee if i wasn't in the final throws of a profit announcement at that time of year. Bummer Regards Andrew
  16. Circuit Time Update: Circuit Name: Calder Lap time: 1.06.35 Circuit Name: Sandown Lap time: 1.23.27 Circuit Name: Phillip Island (need another go at this with healthy car Lap time: 1.57.16 Circuit Name: Winton Lap Time: 1.38.75 Regards Andrew
  17. Congrat's on the time Ferni. I have someone to chase now!! I suffered a split intercooler hose during the second timed session - so the 36 will have to wait for another day. I'm glad it didn't foul the plugs and I could drive home - as Jack was sort of.......fully booked Cheers Andrew
  18. Just ask Ben, very few people seem to know more about these things than him. Regards Andrew
  19. Ok, as we are operating under AASA at Winton, we don't need the usual signy signy bit for the entry form. So the documents on the WRX Forms are correct. Let the entries flow.... Regards Andrew
  20. Hi people, Tony hasn't put the second page of the entry form up. It's the part that needs signing so it's the important bit. We've told him and it should be up later today/tonight. Regards Andrew
  21. Jack, Based on my guess and my previous STi times, a '36 for you should be a snap! Andrew
  22. I'm in, and Budge has been kind enough to book me room with Murph and him. I will be a Winton GT-R Virgin no more.... Regards Andrew
  23. That's what I thought at first but it's flashing as he's off the throttle - it's all over the place.
