  1. Might be a good idea to sell cheapish pod filter and the box as a package. That way u know it will fit. I like ur idea. Keeping things legal looking / devious is what its all about for a streetcar

  3. Haha i cant yet dude. The new extractor fan isnt installed yet so dyno is out for the moment. Got plenty lined up and waiting to be tuned. Mines first
  4. 25. Stock with injectors and turbo. Very curious to see what power it will make. Planning to be at eastern creek drift day next thursday
  5. old truck turbo. i just killed my 1st set of tyres. On 9 psi this 20g has no problems laying 3rds, going much better now with the correct spark plugs, its a 2nd hand motor and i never checked the plugs when i fitted it. i took a rolling 1st 2nd 3rd video but for some reason it didnt record sound

  12. yes i do, boost doesnt normally kill turbo's its more the shaft speed etc, its a highflowed steel wheeled turbo, so i would expect it to sit on 22psi comfortably, depending on what you use your car for ie daily or circuit etc, tune your car to suit, daily i would run 19psi on high boost, but on the track maybe 14 to keep the engine happy
  13. i have no idea what rpm, boost or afr it was at, i know its rich and safe but my tacho doesnt work atm, i forgot to look at the boost gauge, too busy trying to keep it straight
  14. i reckon the turbo will handle more boost than the engine can take, so pick a boost that your engine likes

  16. Only the first few seconds are any good. I popped the cooler pipe off mid 2nd gear. This was with maybe 3/4 throttle. I will try and get a better vid ince its up and running. This car hasnt been driven for 2 years. I got it as a shell and built it up over 4weeks in my spare time.

  18. just took my drifter for a quick run, just roughed in a tune so i could drive it and see how everything is. this things gonna be mental, i cant beleive how hard it ramps up onto boost and the little screamer just cracking open, i took a quick video on my phone, cooler pipe popped off so i threw phone down to make sure i could make it up my driveway, ( u will understand when you see it) excited to get it on the dyno
  19. Have u got the fuel pump wired up via a relay and battery voltage? U say the engine light was flashing. What knock did it reach? Did it max the injector duty? Did it max the air flow meter?
  20. Ill be happy with whatever it makes. Espicially since the way it will be driven it will be fairly safe. The sl2 has a fairly small butt so im curious to see how it goes
  21. How about putting a wideband on it an seeing if its leaning out. Always best to test theories before replacing. I believe Mafia but like i said best to test it out 1st
  22. Does the car have an aftermarket ecu or fuel pressure regulator? Can u check ALL of the intercooler pipes and vacuum lines. If one or more is off the mapping will be out. Check air flow meters Set base ignition timing Set TPS adjustment
  23. Thats why ur having so much trouble. Try finding 10 x 1.25 What lock nuts are u using?

  25. 44mm would be best. I should be tuning my td06 sl2 early next week when the new shop is up and running. It has a 38mm ebay gate and manifold. Just fueled it up with some e-flex which tested at E70. So everything is almost ready. I might take it for a little drive up and down my long driveway today.
