I think we might have a different opinion of what sleeper means... making a car noisy and bolting on parts that don't really work doesnt equal sleeper, it equals rice.. getting a wrx and pulling off the bonnet and badging, and replacing it with an rx bonnet and badging so that peple think they got burnt by a 2.0 litre n/a.....that's a sleeper.

my gf drives a civic. therefore based upon my experience driving it, I'd say don't get one. theyre slow and underpowered, and have terrible bodyroll and understeer like a snow plough. preludes are nice. peugot 306s are nice - I know you can pick up reasonably late models for $17k with low kms... n/a soarer? you can get those pimped out in v8 form for around that price? or alternatively, go real pimp and get a vip car... you should be able to get the early 90s gtir(?) integras for about that price too. theyre ok for girls, but only gaylords drive red ones with gold badging. hmmm... lagmeister.

by the sounds of it erik, you shouldnt buy this.... ..but then again, everyone here said gull wing doors on an R34 is a bad idea...but there are people who pay the money to put them in celicas...and apparently there are all-included kits available from the US. so maybe you shouldnt always listen to people on here all the time.... probably and ezpecially me...

it's not my place to say this, but prestige motorsport should really be able to tell you what needs doing. their fee is enough that you shouldnt feel guilt about asking any, or too many, stupid questions. I'm not up to speed on what is required to comply a 15yo import, but under RAWS the r32s need to have dotars compliant side intrusion bars welded into the doors. this might be different with the 15 year scheme tho.

mirkz, the dimmer switch is just a variable resistor. cost you about $2.50 from jaycar or altronics. just rig the dash light power through it.
