  1. Everyone knows top flows dont fit in std RB25 plenum and rail :-) I have some 600cc high flows and some sard 850's - email me if your interested.
  2. I have a pair of 17 x 9 Sparcos with brand new MT 17 x 275's - never been used Email me if interested spoolup@iinet.net.au
  3. They are direct fit, no mods required, use std OEM bearings, 21mm gudgeon pin. After all clearence are checked, bolt them in and away you go.
  4. They do not have twin VVT. Just single like the R33.
  5. Mercury Motorsport use them in there 540rwhp drift car, and I use them of course :-)
  6. got some high flowed injs 600cc - $350 and some 850cc sards - new - $690
  7. either - depending on price etc. email me at spoolup@iinet.net.au with pics if u can cheers
  8. WTB: Factory R34 front bar, must be in good nic. Prefer Brisbane email spoolup@iinet.net.au
  9. I have one that was modified to suit a Cefiro - not sure if it will be direct fit inot R33 though
  10. I think these forums need to be IQ means tested. Lets look at the stroke of the following rb26 86 x 73.7 rb30 86 x 85 Now thats the stroke - thats the distance the piston travels from the bottom of the bore to the top of the bore. So the Rb30 travels 11.3mm overall more - divide that by 2, as half is at the bottom and the other half is at the top - so from basic maths the rb30 stroke is 5.65mm more than the rb26 at the bottom and at the top of the stroke. So if you were to install a RB30 crank into a RB26 block, you would end up with a stroke that sticks the psiton 5.65mm higher than the RB26 crank - now this couldnt be good for your piston to head clearance. So you would either have to use a custom piston or a custom conrod to make this work. It would be a lot cheaper and easier to buy a RB30 4wd adaptor plate and bolt that in your GTR
  11. There is no guessing when it come to compression ratios. There are so many variables involved. So many people buy pistons off the shelf and believe they will end up with the comp ratio that comes with the piston spec sheet. There is only one way to calculate it ( it is time consuming and complicated ) and that is why most people and many engine builders evoid it. Cc'ing piston dome / dish volumes, deck heights ( positive or negative ) , piston valve reliefs, compressed head gaskets ( not the stated thickness ), combustion chambers. So you can guess, estimate and calculate - but unless you have all those precise measurements you are just walking and talking blind.
  12. Mine is making power to 7500. No point me turning it past that
  13. Crankshaft Engineering. They can fit it - or build up the snout.
  14. I have a couple boxes also email spoolup@iinet.net.au
  15. Im running 2 x 0.75mm restrictors, but do have solid lifters in the NEO head.
  16. I have a fully reconditioned RB26 head, seats cut, valves ground, cam tunnels lined bored, new exhaust guides, lifters clearences set, head acid washed and surfaced. Complete head with valve train - no covers, plenum etc email me if your interested spoolup@iinet.net.au
  17. The R34 NEO head requires the same mods to the water and oil galleries as the R33 head. It doesnt however require any mods to the front cam bearing oil gallery as its internal gallery runs the full length of the head. The comb chambers are smaller so piston choice is critical and limited to achieve a good compression ratio. I too have a R34GT Four and plans are underway for a RB30 conversion using a Pro engines adaptor. They are a cheap 4wd option with all the mod cons - a cheap R34 GTR basically - after a few suspension mods :-).
  18. I have a brand new metal cat in box. Retails for $400 Will sell for $250 Cheers
  19. I have some email spoolup@iinet.net.au
  20. ATI dont make RB30 or RB25 balancers, only RB26 Which is fine, but the spacings on the pulleys is different so you cant run your ( P/S or A/C cant remember - on your RB25 ) with out shimming it. Hope that makes sense.
  21. std factory R34 GTT 17inch Wheels and tyres in Bris email spoolup@iinet.net.au
  22. indeed. There are plenty of big power cars getting around with std head bolts, let alone ARP studs. Look at all the SOHC RB30's making spastic power. I think he's getting head gasket issues confused with lifting head issues. Like Nismoid said - unless he was running super low comp with massive boost previously.
  23. Well mine makes 480rwhp with the 10mm studs, and will make alot more. He's just scaring you or doesnt know any better.
  24. I have gearboxes In Bris though, but can arrange freight email if interested: spoolup@iinet.net.au
  25. Depends on the ARP part number of the bolt - but that is around the right flb, usually 45 or 47 depending on part no# Check the ARP site and have the measurements of the bolt on hand - thread size, cap size and under head length.
