no probs. it was easier for me to rip and dump it. there was another one for the earlier cars as well dated 2005. didnt bother with that one. david was poking around looking on aonther site when I realised what he was doing and I sent the nissan one across. the pdf is a direct rip of that site translated to english.

out of curiosity I pulled the head off the RB20. cylinder #5 rusted. cylinder #6 - black as. headgasket let go I figure and took the rest with it. EVERY line on htat head was catcus wit rust and crap. the entire lot is sitting out side ready for the scrap metal guy to pick up. I kept the cam covers and CAS. next few days I'll yank the rest out now htat I can get to the back two bolts a bit easier.

would look at bonnet pin for a start. is it a 446RLI or 446P (send me a PM.)

pink is where the car was purcahsed at auction by a dealer/private buyer then brought in to this country yellow - the person owned the car in japan for a peroid of time then brought it out here.

ok: tonight removed: rear tailshaft front tailshaft engine ancillaries this is so I can get the box and engine out a bit easier. the top two engine/box bolts are a bitch to get at. I also ground off the rusted wiper gear in the front. all of that went in the bin as its all past its useby date. I'll order new stuff after I get more money to do so. the rear wiper assy - I have a spare motor now - the nut was so rusted on that I had to cut it off as well and in the process destroyed the threads that hold the lot together. the engine will be out hopefully before the weekend. then the glass comes out and I start getting chemical burns from cleaning.

I remember seeing one at classic japanese and I think someone in the club owns it. I would like to talk to you regarding your car and option that may be on it. I'm looking at replicating that option and need to see a few things and how they lay out on the underside of your car. shoot me a pm if you can help.

private or business insurance - pick one. if you insure it under a company then the vehicle has to be registered that way. fines are 5x what they are if its a private car. leave it private it worked out cheaper in my case.

+1. they are the best econobox ever. I have a wagon and its used for daily travel with 600+ km/tank. whilst some will say mod the crap out of it. personally thats what a nissan is for, if you mod both cars then you will have two expenses and one less reliable car. my 2c.

FYI: found the diagrams for the operation of the cooler. only thing unclear is the turn on temp. transfer_case_diagrams.pdf I'll be doing this with mine and trying to do it with 3 coolers. there are enough places in the front relay panel to place 3 separate relays so it fits neatly.

need someone internal at westpac that westpac branch number though - does not look local. mine is 034064 and the previous account I had with them the beginning number was still 034036 for brisbane metro. may pay to ring a westpac and check where that BSB is. as for the phone numbers - 3216 is taigum. keperra is 3355. wamuaran has a 5498 prefix. my 2c.
