  1. so someone did a naughty on the way out.. not on guys. we cop enough flack as it is and REALLY do not need more attention. take it elsewhere (any yourself) if you cannot behave.
  2. see what the VSpec 1 has to say. I can see different tyre sizes on there and a few minor differences but thats it.
  3. nothing on mine. I'm going to see IF I can get the jap sticker for it. 16" was standard for a GTST from what I can see and since this thing is a mix of GTR/GTST it would make sense that 16 is the correct size. brakes are forcing me to a 17" though.
  4. that gives me a size to work from I'm going 17" so I THINK this will put me on a 55 or 50 tyre. - ta!
  5. ok I have a full version of it. mine is online 24/7. someone from rochedale was grabbing it as well..
  6. same as a subaru. get the sizes wrong and something breaks on one of those.
  7. I'll have to see what was under it originally. they had it staggered for some reason. I'm going same size for ease of tyre fitting.
  8. thats ok. when you get to it. I do have another one lined up but getting to it is time consuming.
  9. I'll leave this up once I get a full copy of it myself.
  10. buy a built one. I know of a 33GTR that is for sale with a LOT of stuff on it for sub 35k. shoot me a PM and I'll put you in touch with him.
  11. rebuild teh rear shelf and knock up a set if 25mm rings then re-carpet the lot in the factory colour. I'll see if Ican dig up a shot of one I did a few years back.
  12. which is why I said to watch the depth of them... somthing to bear in mind as well.. the stock mounts are raised and angled. dpulicating that will fix your clearance issue. takes a bit of fiddling to duplicate teh mounts properly but if certainly fixes the depth issues.
  13. depends when it happens though. if its on arming then something is open. if its after a while and you get the chirp then the shock sensor felt something. my usual setting on these things is fairly hard so trucks do not set them off but a good kick will.
  14. if thats NOT what you need I beleive I have the other one at the shop. alomst looks series 2 to me. give me a shot of it from the top and give me your chassis number and I'll tell you.
  15. not too be rude but what is one of these worth (JPY is fine.)?
  16. I like the whiteline idea. more info for those that know what it is but do not fully understand teh effects of it.(bear in mind I have hicas and I'm keeping it.)
  17. thanks for that. spoke to a mechanic mate of mine this morn about it. reckons 3/8 steel tube is the go for this and then use the appropriate line on either end. I'll toss push lock hose into google though that sounds like what I need. in regard to diff coolers : not a track hack thing. I figure if everything is cool it will last longer. learned that years ago with a rather warm small block chev. I'm fabbing steel lines up for all of this and I'm trying to make it as 'factory' as possible. two coolers under the tail (as per a Oz spec GTR ) and one in the nose. my subaru wagon has 3 coolers on it and since doing it I have not had a problem with oil or trans temps (it's auto.) the third is PS. thought if it worked well on two prior cars it will work on this one as well.
  18. Ok new inner guard liners arrived today. at $130 each they wern't exactly cheap but given I'm rebuilding this car they will last a while. only gripe I have is the FAST listing shows them as having a vent in the rear area and these do not have it. I will find a way to neatly do it as I need breathing space for the oil coolers in that area. talking to nissan today they are telling me that my new sill panels should be in stockin a few days. not a bad turnaround I figure considering they probably had to make them up frm scratch. I have started cutting the glass out of this car. the guys that do this for a living certainly earn their money. getting the front one out intact is a bitch! think I'll save a bit more money up and get the sides/rear done professionally. I'll provide a parts listing of the two inner guards in the morning (bear in mind these are GTR items.) once I get back to the shop.
  19. had a dig in fast. that number is not in there. see your compliance plate as well . it will have two dates of it. the earlier one is the build date.
  20. ouch. that looks like it did both bags as well. fairly solid hit on a territory I reckon.
  21. further point if you are curious - see if youcan find a company in botany bay called creative electronics.
  22. fixed for accuracy. I know of several cars with them in there and they are well aware of the legalities. in QLD is a $1000 fine per offence (so if you have two of them $2k) and loss of the devive. if its buried in the car then loss of car. a lot of taxi drivers have them btw.
  23. R32 GTR bonnet heat shield $40.00 (had as a spare but dont think ill need it) ----------- see if you can get this safely packed - if so I'm interested.
  24. have a look and see if you have the rest (outer part inside guard) of the airbox and the small z bracket that the front steel bracket on the box mounts to . mine is missing. if you do have it work out a figure for it.
