    they are. if you are comparing the plain open pocket then it is the same one. covered ones vary.

    true. on the premise that it is getting towed. that doesn't stop me from pulling the 18" chromies off it. that is the real reason for it. so in practice it does serve a purpose.

    it can be done. I can set them up either way. last S15 I did the customer wanted: boot release,windows up/down via remote and central locking off a two button remote. bit of fiddling netted this: arm ->windows up, ch2 - > windows down. disarm - ch2 -> boot release. luke if you want this TELL ME. I have to change a module.

    same idea as a autowatch 160 RLI. that is a proximity unit. without the key and fob the car wont go.

    I would think so. that will make modding it fun.. how long can I have the vehicle for?

    looking at the front sheet metal that looks a LOT like a Z33 layout in the front. wiring,lines,hoses - all in the same spots. that would also mean that its run by databus like most of the later 'renualt' cars should be fun to work on. (I've been under a Z33 most of the day fiddling with it and adding an alarm.)

    there are a lot of GOOD brands depending on what you want. suggestions are: DLS,Blaupunkt, ALPINE (PDX) for a start.. cheap crap will go boom boom for a short while then bang as you have found.
