looks like a VDO to me. they do a all in one soultion that spits all of this out to a OE screen. would like to know also.

it destroys the whole pod. look at it when you do one next. part of the reason FHRX and myself remake them.

better off if you ring me. they vary in price.

ring me. brant is dead. and the timer doesn't work with them. I know a few units (one with the timer inbuilt.) that will do nicely.

not depth, diameter. they will not fit on the pod.

yep they do - put a set in a 33GTR a while back with sound deadening. can anyone say 'subs'..

ok I see what you are doing. they won't clear the back of the pod. for a 6.25" (IE alpine) that would work. when you put a 6.75 (IE VDO or Blau) it doesn't. thats why I remake that pod. the MTX ones will drop into those holes easily as well. done a few of those.

yep. when you pull one apart next have a close look at it. what I am saying will then make sense. mine even reuse the stock mounting bolts. tried the way you do them got a complaint that a garage remote went into the door so I changed how I did them. no hassles now.

I'll have to find a pic of what I'm talking about. it does not involve cutting the panel or the door.

easier to remake the pod. then you can fit whatever you need to. in regard to the polk speakers. 20mm total thickness will do it. be sure when you make the new pods that you put the pocket end back on.

also the mongoose alarms on ebay are seconds and have NO warranty regardless who fits them. they need to be sold (new) from a dealer for it to apply. refer to my previous statements if you do not understand why a proper installation costs $$..

I need a donor 33 for the wreck I have here in brissy and yours sounds like it will fit the bill. FFS spend the money on security. I had a kid come in a few days back that drove a jap S15 with NO INSURANCE at all . only reason he put an alarm on it was someone ALMOST succeeded in getting a parts car by cracking the column. if you haven't go the money to : - insure the car -maintain the car - secure the car then in reality you probably shouldn't have it. make sense..

only things with the ones FHRX show is this. pull your door off, note where the tab is on the back. that is the door pocket seal. with the ones pictured that block is gone and anything in the door pocket goes straight into the door. I usually make an exact copy of them that way you dont loose things.

there are a few. that said they are somewhat rare. DAMN good SQ amp though. get that one set the speakers up properly and you could well have a trophy.
