  1. You'd think it'd be easier for the thieves to arrange a friend to suddenly find the stolen car and claim the $5k reward than it would be to strip it down and sell it for parts...

  3. Send him a PM and he'll give you a price...what I paid months ago is irrelevant
  4. Nengun never write the real value on items sent, they do that so as not to attract potential thieves to expensive items...they'll also remove all logos etc from the packaging if you want them to, so that its just a random box to anyone handling it... When I got mine, their price was unbeatable, but there's always a chance that it could take ages for them to send it...I decided to pay roughly an extra $100 and buy it from homerrules on NS.com (he's a trader) as it was guaranteed to be delivered to my door quickly....it took about 5 days once he received the cash and made the order etc.
  5. I doubt you'll beat nenguns price...
  6. I don't think anyones saying that the cops were WRONG in defecting defectable cars, but the point is, they have discretionary power, and in this case it should have been used to improve relations with the enthusiast community. Sure the car might have a front mount and a pod, but the fact that its parked at an organised even, which is run together with the Australian GP, they should let it slide....if they were ripping it up at the car park, then bend them over without lube, but they were simply parked and doing nothing wrong (apart from having a car modified illegally obviously) and we all know that 99.9% of cars on the road can be defected for something.
  7. Update on my order please....
  8. its really not that hard once you jam your hand in...you can see the white plugs that hold the parkers if you look down in the right spot. the passenger side 1 is easy as, and I can change it in about 10 seconds...the drivers side is more tight.. if you can be farked, un screw the washer bottle and move it aside to make the job easier
  9. I aM drink nda I iz tlkaing on het interwebz ti id coul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  11. I was there, so its not hard for me to believe at all. And I'm happy for Justin to correct me if need be, but he has already spoken to Chris about it, and nothing came of it.

  18. 5-10 seconds....you've got to be kidding. I'd say there's something wrong with your car, or you installed the controller COMPLETELY wrong
  19. Sorry, but going from a stock ECU to a pfc could be done by a blind man. There should be no charge for putting it in, only for the tuning that will obviously follow. Ray obviously agrees with me on this, as he never mentioned a single word about 'installing' the pfc when I went for my tune. He practically uninstalls and reinstalls it every time I go there to hook up the laptop, and I've still never been charged for it
  20. nengun will always send all items seperately regardless of what you ask for, and you will be charged individual postage on each item, that is the final price you get when ordering.
  21. any update on my order? still haven't got it
  22. the point is do it yourself. anyone that charges to 'install' a pfc is ripping you off.
  23. 'installing' a powerFC takes all of about 2 minutes....it should cost $0.
  24. hahahhah $2000 to raise the car....fark, he saw you coming... why would anyone buy $2k worth of suspension to raise the car...by some 2nd hand stock gear if you only need to temporarily raise it
  25. He had already had his camber kits installed along with caster kits and springs/shocks about 3 months prior. He went in to have his swaybar fitted and the camber had reset itself and needed to be adjusted.
