  1. i'm in, but no shirt.
  2. looking very sweet man, mods in the first week or two of ownership.!...
  3. sounds sweet, look forward to seeing it!
  4. Purchased in December. Comes with the original packaging, all cables, cradle, stylus, etc. Very little use, as new condition.. It's also got a Brando screen protector thats been on it since new, so the screen is not scratched, perfect condition, no dead pixels or colour issues. The body is also unmarked/unscratched. I don't use it anymore so it's quite an expensive paperweight on my desk. Looking for offers around $450.
  5. $250 sounds reasonable to me. how much more is the carbon kevlar? i'm assuming the carbon fibre will shatter fairly easily when coming in contact with kerbs... is the carbon kevlar much stronger?
  6. Model: R33 GTR Series: 3 Material: Carbon Fibre Quantity: 1
  7. The car in question probably had a straight cut dogbox or similar.
  8. Looking good, how long until compliance is done?
  9. sorry, I worded this ad wrong, I would prefer broken as it will only be used for modifying an airbox.
  10. You are 100% correct, I wont contest that. However, buyers who are looking for a modified GT-R, or have the intention of modifying one, will realise the value of obtaining a car with the majority of modifications already done. For the first time GT-R owner it might be hard to justify a 15-20k premium over a decent quality standard GT-R. Those with the intentions of buying a standard car will look elsewhere, buy their GT-R and 2 or 3 weeks later realise that these cars are not meant to be left standard. They will then start to journey down the path of modifying it, and empty their pockets many times over. I was in this boat, and if I was to do it again I would definately look at purchasing a modified one. Would I import a modified car, condition unknown? probably not, as these cars are far from being cheap to maintain/repair. Would I buy one from an enthusiast locally with all modifications documented and performed by reputable workshops, for sure. Re. the 350z suggestion, there are no locally delivered cars this side of 200k that are even in the same league as a 500+HP GT-R. If you, however, prefer the smell of a new car to performance, the 350z is a good option. This thread was about buying modified GT-Rs, and looks like it could turn into a meaningful discussion on used GT-R prices, hopefully it wont change.
  11. I need to get rid of this stuff, no room in our new place. I will take any reasonable offers.
  12. Yeah the last set of BKR8E I got were only available in 1.1mm, I thought it was strange, but this explains it. It's not a problem tho as gapping copper plugs is trivial.
  13. Well, this thread was quite an interesting read. As Merli pointed out, and mentioned by other people I have spoken to who are in the market for immaculate 33GTRs, you will NOT find a good quality original car for under 40-45k. 20k does not go far on modifications to these things, and once you start it gets pretty hard to stop. I think 62,500 is a VERY reasonable price for my car, especially in comparison to the two cars advertised above at UAS for 55k and 60k. There are buyers for cars in this price range, last week I received 2 offers in the 50k bracket, but I will not be accepting them as its just not worth selling for anything below my asking price. Eventually a serious buyer will come along, but in the meantime I am prepared to hold out for my asking price and enjoy the car for a bit longer.
  14. As title suggests, I am looking for an RB25 AFM, does not have to be working. Willing to pay reasonable amount for it. PM or email ph@krypt.com Thanks.
  15. Yeah the webpage says 355m, I'm just curious how they fit tho, they must be pretty tight. I also have 355mm rotors on my 33 and theres no chance of getting the std 17" rims over them. The webpage also says 395,000yen, which is a lot closer to $5000 than $12,500. Anyway, can you please email the pics as I am still interested.
  16. BKR7E are 2.5mm shorter than the BCPR7E from gasket seat to terminal nut, otherwise identical.
  17. interested, can you please send more pics to ph@krypt.com one question tho, how did you manage to fit 355mm rotors under 17" rims?
  18. Few points; 1. Tried the nismo pump in mine, ended up going with the 044 in tank. 3. I have the Trust 600x300x115 cooler, but it needed about 10mm to be shaved off the inside of the bumper, no modifications were needed to the structural support. Add an extra 10 mins jigsaw/sanding to the fitting time, no drama really.
