Reviving an old thread for the sake of not creating a new one. I also have this loud, high pitched squeal at startup, but it goes away after a minute or two. All belts are tight and in good condition. I can't seem to figure out what it is and I don't want to start replacing belts prematurely. Does anyone have any ideas of what else I can check?

How many km's were on these?

Is the S2 a/c the climate control unit? Do all the buttons light up or is it just the LCD face?

Didn't realise that photos were needed for everything now. Maybe that's why the price of RWCs have gone up so much since a few years ago. Best to go through the sheet that tells you what needs to be done, repair/replace/return those parts to stock, get a RWC, then put the go/stop fast bits back on.

Just some paint peeling from the previous owner who sprayed them in black - a new coat of paint or powdercoat will make them look tip top again.
