  1. I think they need an adapter kit for all Skylines http://alphaomegaracing.com/c/62/R32.html
  2. Car sat for three years while I worked o/s, then on my second outing at Winton I managed to better my PB by 1.2s on 2015 spec Hankook z221's. 1:34.55 on 14/03/20
  3. Full set (front and rear) Mitsubishi Evo 9 Brembo calipers. All Brembos from Evo 5-9 are the same. Pick up from 3181.
  4. After a drivers side seat with no tears
  5. PM’d and emailed but no reply! Let me know if you’re still interested in selling
  6. I went for 12kg/10kg rates on BC Racing ER coilovers, still using stock sway bars. Yes, it still rolls a little, but you also need to consider the relationship between sway bars and springs. A thicker sway bar will help reduce roll, but you'll also lose some suspension independence and comfort (lol what's that anyway?) on the street. I can still manage a 1:35 around Winton with a bit more in it, so I'd try going for a good shock and spring setup first before adding sway bars. Pic is of my car (like yours - half caged) at pretty much full load.
  7. I have a very similar setup. Boss kit with the airbag removal wires, D1 QR kit, and a momo steering wheel. Btw, don't buy fake steering wheels. Google and you'll know why!
  8. Didn't want to create a new thread so I've revived this one. What's the current status on getting a RWC for a car with: - ECU (PowerFC) - Electronic Boost Controller - Aftermarket steering wheel with no airbag (original had an airbag) - Fixed back seat (car has been converted to 2 seater) I think everything else on my car is fine. I'd just like to understand these issues before trying to fix them.
  9. It's been a long time without you my friend... Quick update here since a few things have changed in my last update from 2016. Speed trap analysis for my 1:35 lap taken from RaceChrono: At the end of 2016 I took a role overseas and moved to HK in January 2017 for at least the next two years. I was able to have one last drive through some of the best roads in Victoria with a mate before deregistering my car and storing it till I return. I actually miss driving it quite a lot, especially after seeing all the recent track activity. I will be back and I hope the z221s mature nicely over time like fine wine...

  13. Thanks guys. I might only be able to start it and take it for a drive once a year for the next couple of years so I guess disconnecting it would be safe.
  14. Battery disconnected to Power FC for a long period - will it forget? I'm going to be putting my car into long term storage (1-2 years) and am considering disconnecting the battery during this period as I may not have access to a power point for a trickle charger or solar maintenance charger. I know a couple of months is fine, but have never heard of anyone disconnecting it from a PowerFC for extended periods of time. Does anyone know if my PowerFC will "forget" its settings? I don't really want to have to get it completely retuned when I reconnect the battery after a long period.
  15. Sorry, not sure about either! Think the limiting factor in load will be the car chassis tho. Also, tow bar is now SOLD
  16. Lots of interest, but no takers yet! You could be as cool as these guys
  17. R33 tow bar R33 tow bar for sale. Uses existing holes and comes with all mounting hardware. Car is going into long term storage so no need for the tow bar any longer. $250 ONO
  18. Yeah, that's the max I could get. My tyre wear seems to be pretty even across the surface, but then again, tyre wear is mostly determined by the amount of toe you run.
  19. After the test fit from the phone, I had to bend and modify the UAS one anyway and it still doesn't clear my wheels properly at full lock.
  20. Good question. I just had a look at the lap times some pro drivers have set in exotic production machinery and have provided the top 10 times below. Rank Vehicle Driver Time PS / KG 1. Porsche 911 GT2 (997) Warren Luff 1:32.10 530 / 1440 2. Gallardo Superleggera Warren Luff 1:32.80 530 / 1520 3. Nissan GT-R (R35) Warren Luff 1:33.70 480 / 1740 4. BMW M3 CSL (E46) Cameron McConville 1:37.06 360 / 1385 http://fastestlaps.com/tracks/winton-national-circuit 257 rwkw is 345 rwhp, so maybe around 410-420 engine hp? My car weighs 1370kg (Phillip Island weighbridge). Looking at this, I guess I'm not doing too badly in what's basically a powered up 1996 car with basic suspension updates. I'm actually just using the UAS brake air deflectors on my front rotors and nothing on the rears. http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/Parts-Shop/uas-motorsport-brake-air-deflectors-681.aspx
  21. I think the trick to getting the standard brakes to work is to make sure they're well vented and plenty of air flows over them. Otherwise, good pads and fluid is enough for now. What do you mean by "clubman runners"? I'm running a square tyre setup to prevent understeer. Also thinking a lot about how I drive to make sure that weight is transferred properly so I can get the car rotated around the tighter stuff. ------------- For my future self looking back at this: Carry more speed through the sweeper, take a wider line around the boobs to maintain speed, and there's about 10kmh more speed in 11/12
  22. Also changed my rotors to a cheapo RDA blank setup with some ducting. Pads are Project Mu HC+ with Super ATE brake fluid
