  1. Hi everyone, pleasure to meet any and all of you! Yesterday I purchased an R32 GTS-T and drove it to Adelaide from Sydney.. on the way back in I went to get the ID check done, got defected for 3 minor things Until they are fixed I can't transfer the rego into my name within the state, thus the car is unregistered.. I have a UVP till Monday (2nd Dec) I have little to no friends, maybe one in the JDM game.. Any help on who to take the car to and where to get parts / meeting new people would be fantastic ❤️ Here's the car, and here's the little devil notice lol TLDR; the defects are: Window Tint too dark RHS "A" Pillar Gauges HID Headlights am hoping I can just change the globes on the lights. apparently I can't just remove the gauges and have it open so need to locate a RHS stock "A" Pillar interior trim and I really don't care about the tint, I don't use my phone or have anything to hide.. if anyone is a genius when it comes to removing it ❤️
  2. WTB: R32 GTS-T Type M Front Bar Hi everyone, I'm chasing a Type-M Front bar to suit my R32, preferably in black but will take anything at this point. Located in Brisbane, but happy to pay postage for the right item. I've noticed these pop up occasionally in Perth or Adelaide but haven't found someone to ship to QLD yet. Pic of front bar below Thanks, Aaron
  3. Daymo's R32 GTS-T Hey everyone, I thought i'd start a build thread, just so i can keep a log of everything i'm going to do to the car, and keep track of how much i'll no doubt spend on it in the next few years. I'll give a brief introduction, i'm from the U.K. but currently on a sponsorship with a goal of getting permanent residency further down the line, located in Griffith NSW, and there isnt a great deal to do here so im gonna spend my time and money on a car ive always wanted, an R32 skyline! I'm no stranger to nissans, i had a 1997 Nissan Primera GTSE, not sure if you get them over here as i definitely haven't seen one on my travels! She had a few tasteful mods:- Full Stainless Exhaust with Powerflow Backbox,Hotshot 4-2-1 Manifold,Koni Shocks and Springs,Uprated ECU (Datsek Piggyback System)Hotshot Cold Air Intake,Ported and Polished Head,JWT-S3-Cams,Short Shifter, Plasma Dials, Nissan VZR Splitter, JDM Headlights, Yellow Foglights The primera was a great car to drive, but it did get boring in the end, being NA it just needed that extra kick from a turbo but i never got round to doing the conversion. Anyway, i'll get onto the skyline now, i bought it in December 2016, its a Type-M Manual (was an auto) im still discovering little mods here and there, as the sales advert wasn't the best, i have a dyno print out for 230kW/308bhp and i know it has a kinuwaga TD06-20G but apart from that im unsure. (maybe you guys can spot some mods and i'll keep updating the list!!) Mods:- Engine:- Kinuwaga TD06-20G Tial 45mm Wastegate - did have a screamer pipe but the previous owner had this welded up when he was defected. Forward Facing Plenum Oil Catch Can Spitfire Coils 3 or 3.5" Full Stainless HKS Pod Filter (hidden underneath some awful chequer plate) Haltech Platinum ECU FMIC 14 Row Oil Cooler + Filter Relocation Kit RB20 Manual Gearbox Conversion Suspension & Wheels:- BC Racing Coilovers Lenso D1R's - 17x9.5 Fronts - 17x10 Rears Just Jap Lower Control Arms Front and Rear Exterior:- Carbon Fibre Bonnet - Unsure of brand GTR Grill Black Indicators Aero mirrors, GTR Front Bumper, GTR Spoiler Interior:- Momo Deep Dish Steering Wheel Drift Button Double Din Headunit Oil pressure, boost gauge, A/F Gauge and here are a few pictures from the day i picked her up, I got defected pretty much two days into owning it for being too low, so raised it up a touch (25mm at the front and 30mm at the rear). i then decided i hated the vinyl wrap as it was bubbling in places and pretty poorly done. i was hoping the paint was going to be okay underneath the wrap, but with the wrap being on for a good few years (the previous owner had the car 18 months, and he reckoned it had been on a while when he first bought it) this was not the case. So this is where im currently at now, ive taken all the wrap off, im currently in the process of buffing all the left over glue off the car with prepsol, and getting her ready for paint. i bought a GTR-ST front bumper from kmak aero, did a little bit of modification to the slam panel or "reo" as you call it over here. Future plans are to tidy up the bodywork, add a few subtle mods, change the wheels and sort the ridiculous camber out on the front, then try and figure out how to get an rb25/30 engineered in here, its quite frustrating as we don't have all the engineering hoops to jump through in the UK, we can literally do what we want as long as it passes an emissions test! i'll try and keep the updates frequent!! Cheers, Daymo
  4. Hi SAU community I'm wanting to buy an R32 4 door preferably GTS-4 but happy to look at GTS-T, i know its a stretch but looking for one quite standard in good condition i have good money ready to spend for the right car. Any help much appreciated, also at this stage not looking at 2 doors.
  5. Hey all, this is my first post here and I am a beginner deaf and wheelchair bound photographer who loves to take pictures of cars whenever I can. My main favourite is the 1993 Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R and want to own one one day. I have some photos that I have taken today (5th October 2018) while I was at Powercruise in Barbagallo. I'll upload some more photos once I find the best ones so far, for now, there is just that one for now. Please let me know what you think 😁
  6. Hey all, i recently purchased a Gts-t 1998 R33 Skyline. Currently in the process of getting her registered and some fixes. Located in Vic on the Mornington Peninsula. Hope to have her on the road soon, looking for to catching up with people and road trips
  7. Hey, This is my first post here and i was just wondering about this performance chip i found it seemed alot cheaper than having a new ECU put in and Tuned & with it being so much cheaper i have started to wonder if its legitimate or if its just a giant scam (leaning more towards scam) I was just wondering if any of you had any experience with this company or similar products and if so with the similar products would you recommend them? https://havokengineering.com/products/havok-engineering-r33-rb25det-ecu-upgrade-chip-for-the-r33-ecu edit: I drive a Japanese Import R33 GTS-T (Not sure if it makes a difference)
  8. Hey guys, im fairly new to the forums but i had a brand new Gates Timing Belt and water pump kit with all seals and gaskets needed todo the job. I paid 360$ with shipping around a year back for the kit, but i never got around to needing to use it as i barely drive my r34. I have attached a picture for you to see, Item:Gates Timing Belt+Water Pump Kit Location: Western Sydney Price: $340 O.N.O(On Negotiable Offer) This kit suits rb25det engines and as far i am aware it fits rb26 as well but confirm with a professional before purchasing. Make me an offer as i need cash and dont need this lying around.
  9. Hi, Looking to purchase an R32 steering wheel. Don't really want a GTR wheel as it pulls a premium. Cleaner the better, will use to pass RWC and likely continue to use after. I'm located Melbourne, but willing to pay postage on top if necessary. Contact me on 0421 578 046 by text. Thanks.
  10. Guys I've decided to entertain the idea of parting with my project car of nearly 13 years. Over the past 13 years I've been through many stages in my life and career and therefore the car has sat idle needing the love of an individual that I can no longer provide. Basically up for EOI is a HCR32 with a 2.4ltr stroked rb20det. Engine: - Rb20det platform - RB26 crank - Forged H-beam rods - 84mm wiseco forged pistons - ACL bearings - Half grouted block - ATI balancer - Crank trigger kit - Top mount gt3582r setup - Custom hypertune intake with 90mm throttle body - Sard 650cc injectors - Sard RB26 fuel rail - HKS cam gears - Tomei 272 9.25 cams in+ex - Ported and polished head - ARP head studs - Tomei 1mm 84mm head gasket - Spitfire coil packs Body & driveline: - Custom black 2 pack respray with factory body kit - 18" wheels all around 265 rear 235 front - Single piece tail shaft - cut and shut RB26 gearbox - hsd coilovers - koyorad 52mm radiator - hicas removal bar Electronics & Other - Haltech ps2000 ecu - iq3 dash - dual external Bosch fuel pumps with surge tank - dry cell battery relocated to the boot Basically everything I could do has been done and just needing the base timing completed and run in tune. I'm putting $15,000 on it EOI take it as it is. Making this post is something I've been thinking of since my son was born last year hoping I would have the time to finish the car since the engineer build was completed mid 2016. Please no haters it is what it is. Thanks

  13. Thinking of letting go of my 1996 R33 Gts-t which I have owned for 4 years. This car is one of the last R33’s that have been kept in immaculate condition. Every modification has been performed with performance and reliability in mind. Every nut and bolt has been torqued to OEM Nissan spec as I am extremely fussy when it comes to working on cars. All modifications were performed in the last 10,000km and nearly all parts were purchased new. A general overview: 1996 ECR33 Gts-t 122,000kms - Genuine (have jap auction sheets) Zero crash history Engine: 100,000km Service performed (timing belt, tensioner and water pump) Hypergear 21U High-flow turbo JJR bell mouth dump pipe Venom 100cpsi high flow cat Apexi N1 cat-back system Apexi PowerFC with hand controller S15 440cc Injectors Walbro 255lph fuel pump Cooling Pro ‘No Holes’ stealth intercooler Z32 AFM Custom aluminium intake pipe Drivetrain: NPC Organic 10” Clutch installed by Forced Motorworks Fresh transmission and diff fluid GKTech clutch damper eliminator Suspension: BC BR Coilovers Hardrace front LCA bushes Hardrace adjustable caster arms HICAS lock bar kit Wheels: Work Emotion XD9 18x9 +30 with Kumho KU36 18x10 +38 with Federal 595SS Wheels were powder coated in space blue and are immaculate with new Genuine Work decals. Interior: Series 3 R33 GT-R seats in immaculate condition. These cost over 1k alone. Full alarm and immobilizer Full Genuine Nissan 'Skyline' floor mat set JDM Clarion system This car has been serviced with fully synthetic oil and Nissan filter every 5,000km without exception. All fluids including clutch, brakes and diff have been replaced in the last 5,000km. The car has been tuned by Chequered Tuning and currently makes 260rwkw on pump 98, or about 300kw at the flywheel. Very responsive and will chop most things on the road. Downsides are: •Front bar has some scratches on the bottom. •RH rear quarter has a scratch in the clear coat. Apart from the above the paint is excellent. The buyer of this car will receive a full folder of receipts totalling over $20,000 as well as dyno sheets for the tune and original Japanese auction papers. You will not find a cleaner, more genuine Skyline anywhere else. Registration is included but RWC will be left up to the buyer. This car has no finance owing, no stolen history and no written off history. Inspections are welcome however no one will sit in the drivers seat until I have cash in hand. The price is $14,000. This is open to negotiation however stupid offers will be ignored. Text on 0411 582 453 or PM
  14. R33 Gts-t Manual 4door. 273 Rwkw Neat and tidy Sonic Silver, 1996, Series 2, Manual, 4 Door Skyline with a genuine 273 RWKW. Unfortunately for me, the timing belt tensioner has come loose and the engine is not running right. It isn't making power and backfiring. I suspect a valve may be bent. I have not investigated this. The car still runs and drives but I would not advise this until further investigation. I have dropped the price to reflect the suspected issue. I'm after a quick sale as I'm moving interstate. Pretty gutted I have to sell it and even more so that this has happened. I think you all know this car is an excellent example and it has been a complete joy to own.Offers over $6kNeat and tidy Sonic Silver, 1996, Series 2, Manual, 4 Door Skyline with a genuine 273 RWKW.Very reliable Canberra Car imported locally in 2002. 210,000Kms. 15. 1996 R33 GTS-T Series 2 Silver When the car battery goes flat a few times over a few years, you have to replace the battery etc. due to lack of use you know the time has come to bite the bullet and let the girl go. I have owned this car for near on 10 years, imported into Aus and single owner of it here. It has had a very quiet life living on an acreage for 2 years then in a basement for the next 7 odd, never raced, rarely even driven with gusto. Been the most reliable car i've ever had. For 90% of the time i have owned it was only used on weekends as not long after i got it i moved close to work and train line so its had a boring life ever since. First things first let me be explicitly clear. I think it has a buggered head gasket (oil/similar in radiator overflow). Noticed it just before christmas after having gotten a new radiator and other stuff in November. Only drove it half a dozen times before realizing and only driven it briefly to charge battery once a week the past few weeks. Car still drives perfectly fine otherwise, it came as a shock. Anyway. Other than the radiator oil/whatever in overflow i cannot find any other symptoms, no smoke or loss of coolant etc. But something is a miss. She that shall go without name has reiterated many times the car is wasted on me these days and i must finally admit she is right. I rarely use it, i don't need it, it deserves a more active home (and i suppose "she" then gets to use the car space..). So with that said i have a firm asking price of $6,500 which is think is very good value especially if you're mechanically inclined to fix whatever the issue is above. The car would be a great daily, weekender toy, or track car. Details as follows: 154k on speedo (genuine, had around 80k when i imported it i think)Stock turbo running at 10psi (never higher)FMIC (cooler pro or some such brand cant remember)Apexi Power FC + hand controller (have stock ECU also)Apexi Pod Filter + aluminium boxApexi boost gaugeAftermarket alarm system + immobilizerBilstein shocksWhiteline springs18" wheels (dishy starcorp ones, they are well scuffed from time on acreage but hey you'd probably wanna swap them anyway...)Full 3" exhaust from split/dump (relatively quiet). Exhaust was a kakamoto from Japan i think, splitter/dump was done here.Window tintingNismo leather gearnob300kph aftermarket dials with blue SMDs (looks great i reckon)Replaced front headlights new enclosures (over $1k genuine) so look fantastic, using OSRAM nightbreaker bulbs + matching parkers as shown in picPioneer headunit installed last year with bluetooth + Polk Audio front door speakers + sound deadening in doors Momo tyres x 4 installed 2016 Rego until late March 2017 Also in Nov '16 spent over $2k replacing- New RDA disc rotors x 4- New Intima Pads x 4 - New Alloy radiator + piping + Thermostat Interior is in pretty good condition for age. Leather steering wheel is worn thats about it the rest is all pretty good! Also can include a replacement illuminated rear SKYLINE garnish (never had it fitted). Also can throw in the old rotors+pads if wanted. Pads still had some life in them and rotors should be OK if machined (i think?).Car was serviced every year before rego/pink slip. Originally at powerplay imports, then north shore automotive, then quixspede. Number plates come with car are semi-custom i like $150 a year or something maybe less but you can just get rid of them and get normal ones. I probably should have before now haha. The car has a few what i consider minor dings and marks that come with age, and a scratch and crack on the front spoiler lip, thought all could be fixed and touched up quite easily. Happy to give details if anyone genuinely interested. Please msg here or SMS 0404 949 424 if genuinely interested. No trades. Located near Chatswood NSW.
  16. Bought my '96 GTS-T around April 2013 with the intention of separating my track and daily cars. It was near standard when I bought it so it didn't take too much work to get it up to a RWC condition. It did come with underbody neons and a crap stereo which was quickly ripped out, and a cat back exhaust and no-name pod filter. This was taken on the day I got the RWC: First time out on track was at very wet Haunted Hills hill climb in May 2013. Being completely stock, the car rolled around a lot. I was also thrown around from side to side in the stock seat which was a real pain. Final lap time was 70.64s on a wet track. Took it to the RTR dyno and it came out at 136.2rwkw Took it to Winton in June 2013 and achieved a pretty mediocre 1.48.70. Car was still stock at this stage and run on street tyres. More Haunted Hills in its stock form in October 2013 At this stage, I was just trying to learn how the car drove. Unfortunately I started to get some massive exhaust manifold leaks, boost leaks, the 17 year old radiator cracked, and stock turbo was dying. Decided that since a fair amount of its guts would be out, I'd do some basic modifications to the engine. I wanted this car to be as reliable as possible as I don't have a tow car and would have to drive it to and from all the tracks. I've also gone in with a "do it once, do it right" mentality as I've had too many issues in the past with going half assed and having things break. Chucked in a big Mishimoto radiator, 3" dump pipe, high flow cat, fuel pump, 480cc injectors, Blitz return flow intercooler, Power FC, and a small Kinugawa turbo. Got a healthy 244.9rwkw at 17psi Chucked in a proper seat just before my next track day Track day at Winton in November 2013 and ran it at 11psi (~200rwkw). Still standard suspension (check out the body roll below), street tyres, and brakes. Found that when hot, car was misfiring like crazy and realised that my coil packs had given way. Day ended with a 1:45.03 Replaced the coil packs with Yellow Jackets which unfortunately continued misfiring (but much less than the broken ones), so I ended up getting a set of OEMs which has been great ever since. Mid 2014 I chucked in a set of BC Racing ER series coilovers in 12/10 kg f/r. Found a cheap second hand Kaaz 1.5 way diff which went in as the stock viscous was as good as an open diff. Also put in a dog bone to fit GTR rotors. Did a bunch more events like DECA, HH, Winton, and PI to build up more track time in the car. Times were slowly improving with experience. Had a weld in half cage installed for the harness bar and some ROPS PI day with a 2:02 on wet track with street tyres: In 2015 I went to E85 with a small bump in power to 257rwkw and more torque still at 17psi. Again, reliability was key here and I think E85 is best for boosted engines living their lives at the top of their rev range. Chucked on a circa 2010 set of 235/45/17 RE55S semis in SR2 compound for my first foray into semis. Times started to come down to 1:37.89 before my brakes blew up. Had a theoretical in the 1:36 range, but that's for next time. Rotor failed coming into turn 1 on my first hot lap. Lucky nobody was in front of me so I was able to just roll off the track and drive back to the pits. PB lap: http://youtube.com/watch?v=nPKGlBA21lk (not sure how to embed) Will need to improve air flow around brakes for the next track day. My aim is to drop into the 1:34 region with no aero at Winton in its current setup and newer semis. Thanks for reading. That's nearly 3 years in one post!
  17. Sputtering under load and idle Ok so i refitted the turbo to my 97 R33 GTS-t on the Christmas break and have noticed that under load (say 80km/h in 5th or 60 in 4th) if i put my foot down the car will reach about 2.5K and start jerking and sputtering eventually evening out at 3-3.5k. when i first noticed it i was running 91 from united (so it was probably half water anyway) so i ran a full tank of BP 91 and injector cleaner through it and the problem was less noticeable but not gone completely. the next step was to run bp 98 through it to see it i was just running too low of an octane rating which didn/t change anything (what is the downside of running a lower octane BTW, engine damage or just terrible economy/running?). also sometimes when cold (idling at 1.5k to warm up), the engine will slightly miss every couple seconds but i assume this might just be a sign of the cars age. So am i looking at rubbish injectors or should i start looking at the coils or spark plugs (the plugs probably only have 10k on them and no idea about the injectors or coils). For note the car is running just off stock (basically pod filter, front mount, a 3.5" exhaust and bypassing the 2-stage boost controller) Cheers guys
  18. Is the R32 GTS-T P-plate legal in NSW? Hey everyone, I am new around here and I am looking to purchase a Nissan Skyline R32 GTS-T. I am on my NSW P1 provisional licence and I am unsure whether it is banned or allowed in NSW. I am quite confused as some sources are saying it is legal and some sources are saying it is not allowed. Personally I have seen a few P-platers driving them but I wasn't sure if they were driving them legally. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  19. SOLD 1996 R33 Skyline Gts-t - manual, 250rwkw Hey guys, it's finally time to part ways with my '96 R33 Gts-t. I've owned it for about 4 years now, just upgraded so this has to go! I originally bought it in 2013 with about 112,000 on the clock, now has approx 146,000, rego till end of June 2017. I'm after $11,900. Located at Kogarah in Sydney When i first bought this it came with a high-flowed R34 OP6 turbo, I wanted something more responsive so I got a brand new Hypergear SS1PU turbo about 6 months later - installed it & got the car retuned. It's always been great to drive, boost comes on early and hard, fullboost (18psi) around 3500-3750rpm in 4th. Dyno graph was a hair under 250rwkw in a stuffy dyno room. Next step would be to slap in some larger injectors + larger fuel pump and run E85 for something closer to 300rwkw Serviced regularly and always taken care with it, it's always been a great reliable car. Handles great, sounds great, it's got lots of induction noise & gear changes sound very noice I've also got a huge pile of receipts and stuff for the car + dyno sheet, spare ECUtalk cable Mod list: Nistuned z32 ECU (tuned by Toshi from SAU) Greddy profec B Electronic boost controller Hypergear SS1PU turbo JJR bellmouth stainless dump/front pipe Ecutalk consult port display (displays RPM, load, fuel economy, various engine/temp sensors + many many more functions) Fujitsubo catback exhaust - twin tip, good sound, not droney 80mm metal turbo intake pipe Z32 AFM with Tomei plug JJR coilpacks Apexi pod filter Blitz return flow FMIC (painted black) Turbosmart recirc BOV Nismo 555cc injectors Nismo intank fuel pump (wired for alternator voltage through a relay) Jim Berry full monty carbotic clutch BC racing br coilovers Front & rear Whiteline adjustable sway bars Whiteline subframe pineapples Nismo front strut brace with master cylinder stopper Nissan rear strut brace Tomei hicas lock bar kit 18" Speedy wheels, Hancook Optimo rubber all round - heaps of tread left Nismo gear knob Boost gauge Genuine Nissan floormats Pioneer headunit with bluetooth, USB, AUX input 12" MTX subwoofer, 6" Response splits up front - both wired to 4-channel amp in the boot Windscreen replaced approx 1 year ago due to stone chip Radiator (reconditioned by NATRAD) & Century battery approx 2 years old The bad: Driver's side window has a small scratch in the tint Tacho usually jumps around (common R33 problem) Small paint chip on front left edge of bumper from when a Taxi nudged me in a parking lot @ 5km/hour Not interested in swaps or lowball offers - if you have 6k to spend look elsewhere PM me if you're interested!

  21. R32 GTS-T - Headlight Permanently On Last Friday, when I was leaving work, I discovered the remote wouldn't unlock my 32. The car is alarmed, so I didn't want to try opening it with the keys (in the end this didn't matter anyway) I assumed I had left my headlights on and decided to return the next morning with a mate to jump start it. When we returned the next day, we discovered the battery was completely dead. However, I hadn't left the headlights on so I was confused as to why the battery died. With keys in my pocket, we fitted the new battery and immediately my passenger side headlight turned on. (Normal headlight, not hi-beam or fog etc.) I was able to start the car, and flicking the headlight knob turned the drivers side headlight on. Flicking the knob in to the off position, the drivers side light turned off and the passenger side remained on. (This was not a problem previously, however I suspect it is the cause of the dead battery) For a few weeks prior to the battery dying, my passenger side indicator had been doing the 'double-speed' thing. To be honest, I had just ignored this. Now, that indicator works properly, but I still have the headlight problem. Has anyone encountered this before? Or knows where I should start looking? Thank you for reading, Aaron
