Haha no it didnt.

Ofcourse it wont start the engine, it has no coils or spark plugs - what he means is that the throttle is flat to the floor. Apparently this is the correct way to do it, otherwise you will get incorrect readings.

Put it on my tab at Harry's.

A professional wont just guess if you have an alarm or not by looking for a flashing light. They'll come prepared either way, so the flashing light wont tell them any more then they already *should* expect. If they want your car they can get it, LED flashing or not. I dont understand the concept of not having the LED. Every shit head that thinks they can break into a car, kick the dash and mess with some wires to get it started will be detered by the LED, they wont even think twice about it. Whereas if they dont think there is an alarm they'll smash the window and once the alarm sounds they'll go running. That still leaves you with a smashed window.

Rich Fuel Mixture
Mr Italy! replied to dinosouar's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Skylines = rich. Thats pretty much all there is to it. If your sensors are farking out on you, it will run even richer then normal. Do a search for PowerFC and read a bit about it. Then go out and buy one. Tune it and problem solved. -
So you're going shopping for HKS, Trust, Recaro etc are ya Nah the wheels look nice, they suit the car well!
-
Holy shit that thing is mental!

I would suggest the flux capacitor MAP sensor 1000 ECU. Do a search. You will find autos and aftermarket ecu's are shit in many cases.

That would be just gaurds. You do realise it requires an R34 bonnet, lights, modification of the bonnet and latches, fenders, frontbar, and a fark load of custom work. -

Water Temp Gauge Playing Funny

If its electronic, your sender/sensor is rooted. If its mechanical, check the route to the gauge, is it blocked? -
Its obviously not high boost related. If you actually read her post you would have read that its only on 8psi. And why would she be on full boost doing 100km's on a highway anyways? If she's cruising at 100km's and its doing it what does boost have to do with any of it.

Optimax Extreme What’s Needed?
Mr Italy! replied to THE_350GT's topic in General Automotive Discussion
I think it was to try to make the ethanol industry in Australia viable. But my dad told me the other day that the government is pulling out of the ethanol industry and they're gonna source it from overseas. Really doesnt help the struggling sugar cain farmers up north. Good on you johny. -
Well why dont you volunteer and find out for us

Apexi Power Fc R34 - Just Plugged It In?
Mr Italy! replied to Tough R34's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
I say use your stock ECU till you can get this one tuned properly. Then swap the PowerFC into the car when your at the mechanics. -
Too much time effort and money will be spent persuing the 220 that has now been wasted. Could always have a chat to the mechanic who did the inspection and such for you, explain what happened and if he's a good bloke me might inspect another car free of charge in the future if your mate finds another one. Suck it up and move on i guess. Gonna have to write this one off as a loss.

Do you have an aftermarket blow off valve? If so, adjust the spring tention and make it a little more loose. Let us know if it still does it.

I've got an SAFC2 and its on 93 R33 with no problems. I'm just taking a wild guess but it may have something to do with fueling. As in, is the flow of fuel. Maybe the fuel pumps shitting itself? I'm taking a stab in the dark but i would want a 2nd and 3rd oppinion from dudes who work exclusively on imports before you do anything to the SAFC. Oh and lastely, has anyone ever messed with the AFC itself? Could be messing with your tune if they've messed around with it.
