What good are security cameras when no-one is monitoring them? Thats the first problem with that story. The guys doing the stealing most likely knew they were not being monitored, so they were free to do anything they felt like doing.

^ Yeah ACA did a "study" and apparently it takes 13 full buckets to wash a car. I agree though, it would shit me having to fill a bucket and throw it at the car - using a hose is so much more efficient i find. Meh i live in a quiet street, even if we go back to water restrictions saying we need to use a bucket im still gonna use a hose on the lawn - i doubt i'll be that unlucky that a council dude is around when i do it. I'm going to assume it would be too expensive to treat the water that goes down storm water drains. Imagin all the shit that goes down there with it. Poisons from lawns (round-up, zero), shit from cars, dodgy shit people pour down the drains etc.

My car pops every say 20 seconds when its idling, nothing too major, just a bit of a pop. I dont really care about it as its just a slight missfire. My mates R33 does it to... If thats all you're woried about then you've really got nothing to worry about.

Why are you wanting an RB26 when you only wanna spend 12k? Just buy an R32 GTST and be happy with it. Until you're ready to spend money dont go looking for something special.

Do a 100k km service on it. Do everything that you should have done when it first arived. Engine, gearbox, diff oils, all belts etc. Just do it for peice of mind. If your still having trouble after that, then come back and ask whats going on.
