Call the RTA and the victorian road authority and see what the can do about printing something out to say that your car is registered. If they do that, your set, take it to the cop shop and show them. If that doesnt work, get yourself lawyered up.

One of my mates was being interviewed at the Mobile servo by the group of blokes from ignition DVD.. they had to take time out from the interview and filmed your car just sitting at the lights. If anyone has a window/inside door assembly they are willing to break up i'm looking for a few simple peices. I guess i'm looking for someone who has used a motor or glass from a door and has everything else left over... Basically i'm after a simple runner or just a plastic round clip if possible. The pictures attached show: (1) - the plastic round clip (2) - a runner, with the plastic clip in it Either of these would be great! You'd want to make sure you have a cat converter on your exhaust system... otherwise the RTA/EPA will rape you, and their account balance will love you for it.

Hey Guys, Recently i’ve been having trouble with the driver’s side window. As the window was going down I heard a loud pop and the window proceeded to fall into the door... On closer inspection I had found that a bolt holding the window to the runner had snapped. I went through so much SH1T with Nissan after they ordered the wrong bolt like 3 times, so I gave up and made my own. It’s working sweet. But now i've noticed that there is a plastic circular washer looking thing in the runner where another piece of the window clips into. Part of the plastic washer has broken and occasionally (like today), it will pop out of the plastic washer. It isn’t much of a break but it still won’t hold the window part in. I'm just wondering if anyone knows if these are hard to come by. Also if anyone has a door with these parts in it that they don’t need (say you've used the motor and you don’t need the rest), it would be a great help if I could purchase the bottom runner. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks, Justin

Ohh trust me, i much rather spend my time boosting, but my trips these days are usually short (going to friends places, the shops, school etc) where the car hasnt even had the time to warm up. Friday/Saturday nights is when all the work keeping fuel consumption under control gets shot to sh1t.

Hey mate Yes it appears my line is running really sweet at the moment because 12L/100KM in a performance car is pretty amazing, in my eyes anyways. Basically i change gears at around 3000RPM and constantly watch the vac/boost gauge. Keeping it as far from boost is what i aim to do - im usually not in rush to get places so its not hard to keep out of boost. The cars been running like this since i bought it. I havent talked to the previous owner about what he has done but im thinking he may have replaced the O2 sensor and Air flow metre at some point before i purchased it. I'll never know.

Mines a daily driver. If i wanna conserve fuel i drive like a fairy and get around 12L/100km... which is almost as good as my mums toyota corrola... Daily driver with the power when its needed, cant do better then that.

With the VAFC are you able to make 2 different maps or only 1?

Yeah i personally dont like the guys that run the actual EVO car sales part, they're a bunch of rude pricks in my oppinion. Was in there chatting to Ben one day, car parked pretty much out of the way.. Instead of some EVO wang asking me nicely to move my car out of the way i was greeted with a "f**kin move your car now, your not an EVO customer so f**kin move it". When i moved my car, i saw where my car was parked was not even interfering with their movements... I think the EVO guy is pissed because they've ruined their reputation and Ben gets all the work because people trust him with their cars. Rant over.
