Whats your point here? You just told us that when people see cops, they jump on the brakes, but as soon as they are out of sight they'll get straight back on the gas and go the same speed that they were originally doing (that includes doing over the limit if they wanna). How is that making anything safer, and how is it teaching anyone a lesson about speeding? If they dont get caught, they wont learn. It doesnt matter if the cops are hidden in the bushes or not, they need to be caught in order to really slow down in the future. The police will always have a bad name because they are the authority on the roads. No matter what circumstances you get caught speeding in, your still gonna be pissed at the cop that hands you the fine.

With a turbo charged engines exhaust, the least amount of restriction is the key. So pretty much the less stuff that gets in the way of the exhaust flow, the better. So by adding a another muffler or making a super-dooper sound killer you'll most likely be restricting flow... which will result in a loss of power.

You may not be desperate to get a turbo now, but you will later. Dont bother with a non turbo, just save your money and buy a GTS-t right from the word go. You will save money in the long run, and you wont have to regret buying the NA version of an already pretty heavy car.

If the cops are sitting to the side of the road, causing a scene whilst pulling people over to the side of a busy road, wouldnt that make the already dangerous road even more dangerous? Regardless of the safety of the road they know the true speeders are going to speed where they want to, doesnt matter if its safe or not, so they'll get them in the end either way.

Yeah actually that would be the case for a lotta kids hey. I chose my driving school from others comments. So i chose the most easy going driving instructor of them all so i could get my licence in as little lessons as possible. It paid off, i got it in the minimum amount of lessons, while my mates driving the WRX's spent a good $150 extra to get their licences

In canberra a few of the major learner driver companies have turbocharged cars for the learners (which i find pretty stupid really). So i guess the exemption is for that reason, or if your learning to drive on your L's in your dads skyline etc.

15+ year old performance car = dont spend all your money on the purchase price, or your prized GTR will be sitting in your garage for a long time when something goes boom.

You have to arm the alarm yourself... The immobilisor kicks in 30 secs after the engine is shut down... So you can do whatever you want with the car till you arm the alarm.

Dont buy an NA car in the hope of turboing down the track. Just save up and buy the turbo version if you want one so bad.
