  1. Check out www.egauges.com - from what ive heard they seem to be alright but i havent ordered from them so i cant tell you about their service. However i will be ordering an Autometer Cobalt boost gauge soon... Before shipping it costs $93AU - as apposed to like $160+ or whatever it is in Australia. I'm going to assume shipping of 1 gauge will be less than $70 so i should come out on top! Cobalt ones look the goods in my oppinion.
  2. Just remember that there are a lot of P plate hooligans and the old folks who were brought up with respect and morals dont like the youth of today and their hooliganism.... So you cant really blame some old fogies for getting the shits with youngens at times.
  3. I've heard from contacts in Japan, apparently Apexi are getting out of the performance electronics parts game as they are becoming less popular in japan, people are going for other brands. Thats just hear-say but it wouldnt suprise me if they are stopped the production of pre 96 items. Its the begining of the end.
  4. Buddy, tell us more about what the cars doing if you want answers that will be worthwhile.
  5. Ummmm if your asking on a forum for that info maybe a mechanic should tune it for you?

  11. I always wash mine at home. Gives me time to go over it incase i miss a spot. I can do it at my own pace and dont have to rush for others. I can take my time chamois'ing it right. I dont have to pay, i milk the water and soap off my parents haha Leave me alone, im a poor uni student
  12. I've heard they're pretty shite and the company is going out of business. Apparently the area tha quicktrack monitors is pretty poor, some say its a triangle in the city centre of sydney and thats about it. Thats just what ive heard so take it with a grain of salt.
  13. Hey guys! Just had mine installed and tuned and heres the dyno sheet: Red line = before SAFC-II Green line = after SAFC-II Blue line = Ignore this - after SAFC-II but after the mechinc did the "High boost mode" trick to run 9PSI all the time. POWER TORQUE So pretty much i picked up 10rwkw and a fair bit of torque. The car feels much more responsive. No more super rich backfires at 3500RMP. Fuel economy seems to have increase - usually i get about 340km when i drive like a granny - should get atleast 400km out of this tank and i've been boosting the titts off the car since i got it back, its such a joy to drive again I feel that it will pay for itself in the long run! Justin
  14. Sure enough that woulda been me! Where abouts were you?

Damn birds. Then it started raining outside, hence the dark photos.
  17. Theres way too much work in that car for it to be 10 grand, or 15 grand... No thanks.
  18. Np probs mate - for the future: Google Images http://www.google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wi&q=
  19. I love the GTO - Gran Turismo got me hooked on them and ive wanted one since. However, true to popular believe, when i looked into importing one i was told to not go near them as they are so hard to get parts for. One major importer in Sydney told me i'd be looking at $4000 - $5000 for a new bonnet if i ever had an accident. No thanks... But hey you only live once, if you can get insurance on it, go for gold!!

  21. SAFC2 - its tried and tested, and every joe blogs can tune it for you without needing to refer to the manual.
  22. You may aswell make it hard for them while your at it... and it'll deter other would-be theives...
  23. Do a compression test, that will tell you if the engines rooted or not. The oil may not be from the engine, it may be the turbo oil seal letting go.
  24. Maybe the admins need to appoint someone to handle traders....
  25. Not sure about places in Canberra but it may be worth taking a trip to sydney where they do it all year round with imports??
